Hyatt Place Vijayawada

We stayed at the Hyatt Place for approximately a week. We were able to check in early though I don’t believe we received an upgrade as discoverist. They also let us request late checkout. The best part of the hotel is definitely the restaurant - both for the food and the staff. The breakfast that was included in our rate was extensive and included many South Indian dishes in the buffet as well as western breakfast. They also had made to order food including a daily Indian dish like pooris as well as omelets, pancakes and waffles. We preferred the Indian dishes (idlis, pooris and bhatura) and didn’t partake in the western options. The servers and chefs were very helpful, particularly the female chef who helped us pick various dishes to try. We also did dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the Club Sandwich and the Biriyani. Housekeeping was also very friendly and we found the laundry service easy to use. Though the hotel is new the rooms and linens are already showing wear and tear. The carpet in our room was dirty and we had a difficult time with finding sheets and towels without stains. This may be because they replace towels daily even if you hang them up which is giving extra wear to the towels. They should consider only washing discarded towels as we would’ve preferred to keep our towels for several days after finding stain free towels. Normally we would not request daily housekeeping but the security brochure in the room indicated they were required to see the room every 24 hours. There was also significant construction going on which we weren’t aware of prior to arrival. The pool and terrace on the sixth floor are closed - which wasn’t clear from the booking. The construction they are doing occurred at all hours including in the middle of the night. This could be easily heard in the floors below including the second floor. Because of the construction the fire alarm went off at least three times during the stay including as early as 5:30am. Overall the stay was fine but the construction made for disruptive sleep.

The pillows are very comfortable to sleep. Food was served to us even at odd hours despite the restaurant being closed in preparation for lunch service. They made sure that we never left on an empty stomach. They were always attentive and good.

Stayed for 3 nights for a family visit Pros : good location, new property, good food, good service including at reception like Babi and Phanindra. Cons : minor issues but the team is attentive to address. Water in bath was smelly. Hope it is resolved.

I went there at 3 AM and my room was ready and hit the bed instantly. Breakfast buffet was great and service was excellent by staff members. They could have served some water before I asked after I got my food but no big deal. Some Indian foods were not well cooked inside, typical to food in restaurants and hotels now a days.

Hyatt Place Vijayawada is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel’s central location makes it convenient for exploring the city. The staff is courteous and attentive, always willing to assist with a smile. Breakfast offers a good variety of dishes with both local and international options. The rooftop pool is a lovely touch, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, Hyatt Place Vijayawada offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and service. Highly recommended!
