Loved our room and vibe! Horseback riding was fun, too. The hotel was in the perfect location: close to popular restaurants, our car rental place, and beaches for snorkeling. Kelly and Penny were very informative and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Went to Vieques on Thursday and stayed at Seagate. Received a text the day before with map, instructions and contact info from Kelly. We were able to check in early for the Captain's Room, which I HIGHLY recommend. Aunt Penny got us checked in with no problems and showed us around. I cannot even begin to describe the breathtaking views! The room was like stepping back into a simpler time but with air conditioning. The power went out on all of the islands around dinner time. Kelly met us at the gate as we pulled in to see what she could do. My husband was most impressed. Their large generator was due for a service call the next day. She offered to get us a room at another place with a generator. We opted to keep our room, she hooked up a fan, light and TV. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the least amount of light pollution I will probably ever experience in my life. Power and AC came back on about 3-4 hours later. We had a double rainbow the next morning. We will definitely be staying here again. Wonderful fresh fruit from the property part of the breakfast offering. Seagate is a hidden gem that is truly a breath of fresh air. We look forward to coming back!

We could not have asked for friendlier and more comfortable accommodations for this overnight island experience. Kelly our hostess went out of her way to make sure our trip was flawless! We enjoyed the cottage and surrounding amenities. We walked into town to have dinner at a recommended local restaurant and enjoyed the surrounding location nestled right above the historic Fort Conde de Mirasol and overlooking the town. I recommend at least 2 nights at this lovely hotel.

Great villa-like property ensconced in greenery at the top of a steep hill with views of the lush surroundings and the water. From our second floor unit with expansive veranda we could count the giant iguanas in the surrounding trees, as well as the horses and chickens below. (Note, you will hear the roosters crowing all night.) Room was very comfortable and wonderfully furnished like someone's home. Very friendly and helpful owners. One note for big breakfast eaters, the continental breakfast served is very much on the light side, so you might want to head down the hill to a place like D'Frozz on Calle Muñoz Rivera.
