Pension Lehrerhaus

Excellent location near art / music / theatre . On a lovely quiet civilised ,semi pedestrianised street . Trams nearby & supermarket . Very practical place to stay but lovely history there as well. No kettle in rooms but a shared dining area available on one floor (pension is over 4 floors) , and fridge on every floor . Currently (Feb 2024) some electric wiring building works ongoing in the whole building .very practical choice I would stay again. Very clean :)

It used to be a nice place. Now the old owner is saving every penny (e.g. no more breakfast, severe shortages of staff, low paid staff). He lives upstairs, does not work hands-on at the pension but comes down frequently to make complaints. In fact, it seems the old owner is getting senile and suspicious of every guest. Definitely not a good experience anymore. The remainnig employees try to do their best but they also feel unconfortable with the owner's atittude. I advice past guests not to return, at least not during the current old owner's lifetime.

I have stayed from Oct 15-18th 2022 The pension is run by nice and friendly staff. It’s is clean and the rooms have windows fresh air and private bathrooms. It’s location is a 20 min walk from the city centre and close to Albertina the meeting place for the free tours. This is a quiet street with two nice supermarkets near by cafe shops and restaurants. The local gym is near by if you’re looking to workout during your stay. I have enjoyed my visit and recommend this Pension 💥💥💥💥💥

The room was very nice and clean. It was also quiet—I couldn't hear anyone in the next room through the walls. The bed was very comfortable, and there were a lot of places to hang and put things. A short walk to Rathaus station (had to take the tram because the metro line it's connected to was under construction but that was fine!) or like a 20 minute walk into the city center. There was also a convenience store right next door which was really nice!

The hotel has a beautiful interior (there was a chandelier in my room!) and very comfortable rooms. Although there is not always someone there working reception, they were very helpful and accommodating to meet my needs. I was able to do a self-check in and self-check out. It is also within walking distance of the city center and public transportation. I had a great experience!

Aside from the fantastic location (10/15 mins walk away from the bustle of the touristy city centre, in what feels like real Vienna), the rooms are exceptionally comfortable, clean and functional - and good value too. There are numerous supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in the streets around. There is also a communal fridge on every floor of the hotel and you can request a kettle and cutlery for your room too. But the thing that sets this hotel aside from most, is the incredible customer service that we received from the Hotel Manager. Our son became ill whilst we were staying here and he bent over backwards to help, accommodate and support us in every way possible - the kindness of strangers can never be undervalued! We genuinely feel like we have made a friend here and will look forward to returning again to this fantastic hotel in Vienna.

Sono stata con mio marito ad aprile a Vienna e siamo rimasti soddisfatti di questa struttura, perchè pulita, ci hanno cambiato dopo due giorni la biancheria del bagno, nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi locali per fare colazione o cenare, non lontana dal centro e dai mezzi pubblici. Per essere un 2 stelle per noi è stata soddisfacente.

Wir haben 2 Übernachtungen in der Pension gebucht und würden immer wiederkommen 😊 Alles verlief sehr unkompliziert. Der Charme des Gebäudes und der Zimmer ( Wir hatten ein im Oktober frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit Bad ) sind toll und lassen einen gleich ankommen.Die Rezeptionistin war super nett und zuvorkommend. Auch die Lage der Pension ist gut gelegen.

Decisamente consigliato! La camera (doppia con bagno privato) era ottima, la location è perfetta, a due passi dal centro, raggiungibile facilmente dalla stazione centrale con gli autobus. Abbiamo apprezzato la gentilezza degli addetti alla reception, sempre a disposizione per un consiglio. L'unica cosa da tenere presente è che non è previsto il servizio colazione: c'è a disposizione una stanza vicino alla reception con bollitore, frigo, microonde e tostapane, che si può utilizzare per gestire la colazione in modo autonomo (a due passi c'è anche un supermercato): per come la vedo io è una cosa ottima, se non fosse che la stanza viene aperta alle 8 (e chiusa alle 18), che è un orario un po' tardo per chi vuole ottimizzare la giornata. Sul sito dell'hotel a mio parere non è ben spiegato come funziona: avrei potuto organizzarmi meglio!
