Insika Lodge

Overall a very nice property. Service was all around first class. Only issue was the mosquitoes in the room. Although, they provided spray service...the pesky mosquitoes were there every night. I suggest better mosquito control.

My husband and I stayed at Insika Lodge on our recent honeymoon. Unfortunately, because of our flight delay we only stayed here 1 night versus our originally planned 2 nights. My only regret about our stay in Victoria Falls, is that we didn't get to spend more time relaxing at this hotel. They provided us with a few extras for our honeymoon, that unfortunately we simply didn't have time to enjoy. It was absolutely beautiful, and from what I understood, a fairly new hotel. The room was very spacious and the bathroom made you want to take a shower. The main area was open air living, the pool was beautiful, and there is a bar right next to the pool. The staff was very nice, and prepared us breakfast boxes for our early morning departure. Victoria Falls is fairly small, so I felt the location was good. It's right across from the boarding for the Zambezi sunset river cruise.

A welcoming arrival with the friendliest smiles from staff which continued throughout my stay. Insika is truly a haven of peace surrounded by spectacular gardens enhancing true Zimbabwean flora and fauna with views of the natural bushveld and wildlife where the lodge is nestled. Rooms are beautifully and comfortably furnished. Sparkling pool, bar and dining area in close reach where you are served delicious meals, ice cold beverages and great cappuccino's. The perfect place to come back to after a long and fun day of activities around the Falls.

We stayed at the Insika Lodge when visiting Zimbabwe. It is an excellent accommodation, with professional, polite, honest staff. We enjoyed our stay and did our tours to Botswana and to the Victoria Falls itself. Lovely place to return to after a tiring day of tour. The room was very comfortable and we communicated well with the staff without an issue. They were very obliging and happy to help. Reception staff - Washington, Grace, Handsom and coach driver MacMillan were very helpful as we were uncertain of the tours and what it entailed. They assured us that all will be okay and made us feel safe and answered all our concerns without reservation. This made us reassured. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, satisfying and very well & beautifully presented. Dining Room staff members, Panache and his his twin brother who is a chef Manush, made us welcome and ensured our meals were on time and to our satisfaction. Nothing was too difficult for them with our dietary requests. Well done! The General Manager Krishna stopped to have a friendly chat. He was very pleasant and we had lovely conversation re tourism in Zimbabwe and talked on many other topics. It was impressive to see him being actively engaged in the Dining and Reception areas. We will highly recommend Insika Lodge to our family, friends and our travel agent. We wish the management best wishes and we know it will grow and prosper with the current service. This is my first time in South Africa and Insika Lodge. What a fantastic experience for my wife and I. This lodge is not huge but it’s first class. All meals are restaurant + quality and the staff can’t do enough for you. Our room was great, overlooking the dam complete with drinking animals over time.then there’s the game drives. Morning and afternoons/evenings, we couldn’t get enough. Thank Shaun and Jeffrey. We’re going back in twelve months but for longer than two nights.

Excellent hotel. Clean and well appointed. The staff was just the best. The decor was very chic and gorgeous. And the food was good. They have a free shuttle to the falls and arranged transportation for us to the airport. I felt appreciated and valued. I'd give this place a million stars if I could.

Delicious location in the very core of the Cascade Park. Cozy and kind staff. Rooms are furnished with care and attention to detail, beautiful, modern and spacious. This is a wonderful and beautiful property. The story behind it and how it was built is amazing, and you truly feel welcomed when you get there. The food is also amazing, and I went to bed a very happy camper.
