Bazsinsky House

The house is located in the historic area just a short walk to shops, it's absolutely amazing with beautiful antiques and furniture. Andrew is a great host, so warm and inviting, giving the history of the building and area and offering suggestions on places to eat and visit. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the breakfast was beautifully presented by Andrew. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bazsinsky House as guests of my longtime friend, Andrew! From the moment we pulled up to the house, Andrew welcomed us with warmth and generosity- he has always been known for that! The Bazsinsky House is full of historic charm, beautifully preserved details, and quiet elegance that made us feel like we were stepping back in time. Listening to Andrew share stories of the Bazsinsky family, the home’s Civil War era roots and its place in Vicksburg’s heritage was captivating! Our send off breakfast was delicious! Thank you, Andrew for your kindness! We felt cared for in every way and left with full hearts ( and stomachs!) We will be back! ❤️

The Bazsinsky House is a beautiful old home with historical significance. It is beautifully decorated with antiques and personal collections of the owners. Andrew is extremely friendly and welcoming and spent a lot of time with us talking about the history of the house and Vicksburg. The day we arrived Andrew gave us suggestions on where to eat and places to see while in the area. The room was very clean and both the beds were cosy and comfortable. The breakfast we were served was delicious with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, eggs and sausage links. Breakfast was made more enjoyable with Andrew telling us about the history of the house and answering our questions about the house and Vicksburg in general. We really enjoyed our stay at the Bazinsky House and will definitely recommend it to others who will be visiting that area of the U.S.

We took the house tour but did not stay overnight. As to the physical appearance the 5 star reviews are spot on. The host had extensive knowledge of the history. The experience may be more informal than one at a larger inn. The upstairs was sunny.

This is such a charming bed and breakfast. The house retains so much of the original architectural detail, particularly the massive folding doors between the front parlour and the dining room. The collection of furniture, china and art is also very impressive. Andrew, the proprietor, makes an awesome breakfast and has a wealth of knowledge about the home’s history and the area in general. And the story of the home is equal parts fascinating and gossipy in the very best way. Bedrooms are large and gracious and the linens are snappy. Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful historic home, nicely restored, with a fascinating history. Spacious, well appointed rooms. Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance of a good restautant. Owner/host serves excellent breakfast and us an interesting storyteller
