Albergo Al Castello is a nice hotel located in a rather calm street not far from the Verona Arena. Inside it's in general also peaceful, what makes me think that the building is soundproof. As a matter of fact, I heard no noise from my room during all the time I stayed at the hotel. The hotel is cozy. It's very well decorated and furnished. At the end of the corridor where the bedroom I was allocated is there is a wonderful sitting room decorated with much taste with attractive little pictures hanging on the walls in a peculiar way. The table in that sitting room is also very nice. In the bedroom the bed is very comfy, thanks to its mattress which is adequate for having a good rest. The only thing which wasn't so comfortable was the table, which was too small. Unfortunately, there is no safe in the room. The breakfast is not in line with the rest of the hotel elements. No much food is available for that meal. Besides, there was neither orange juice nor any other kind of juice. The first time I was given something which didn't look like juice but rather like syrup. As far as pastry is concerned, one is entitled only to one croissant, which the manageress distributes among the guests prior to asking each one of them whether or not he wants it. Sometimes one can feel like being in a barracks. Taking the price of the stay – which isn't cheap actually – into account, by the way, there could be a large free buffet at breakfast time. In addition to that scarcity of food, there is a TV set in the breakfast room which is on at the relevant time. The fact of bearing the silly advertisements, for instance, on that TV while one is having breakfast is a real nuisance. The sole staff at that hotel are the said manageress and a gentleman whom she calls “my brother”. They are kind and helpful, and even friendly. As one may gather from the foregoing, staying at that hotel has some advantages ans some disadvantages. In my opinion, however, the advantages are predominant. Therefore, the stay there might prove to be interesting.

Simple, well-run and comparatively cheap. It's a 2 star, but well maintained and comfortable for a short stay in Verona. Rooms aren't huge or ornate, but my single was quite adequate. The staff was available when needed.

My friend and I stayed here over the weekend and I don’t have anything negative to say. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we could still check very easily in despite it being very late when we arrived (delayed flights). The lady at the desk answered any questions we had and was very friendly and patient despite our lack of Italian. The room was very clean, it was small but there was only 2 of us so not a problem. We really loved the croissants at breakfast but maybe not ideal if you’re used to a full cooked breakfast. The location was so so perfect as it was only maybe 10 minutes to walk into the main town centre but even so, there were many shops/cafes close by. They let us leave our bags after check out and also helped us to call a taxi after our prebooked transfer car cancelled last minute. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this hotel and will definitely book again.

Hotel pulito e molto curato. La gestione di Katia è accogliente e professionale. Hotel centralissimo, caldo e davvero confortevole. Camere piccole ma letto comodo. Colazione perfetta all italiana. Vicino a Ottimi ristoranti. Ben collegata

Visitando Verona, questo albergo ha una posizione ottimale in pieno centro a due passi da piazza Bra. In effetti non sembra un due stelle ma un tre. Camere pulite (la nostra abbastanza grande) bagno funzionale con l'occorrente. Alcune camere che danno sulla strada come la nostra ahime sono più rumorose di quelle interne ma comunque accettabile. Colazione buona non manca nulla apprezzati i cornetti caldi! La proprietaria è molto gentile e simpatica come tutto il suo staff.

Hotel piccolo nel centro storico di Verona a due minuti dall' arena e dal Castelvecchio... posizione ottimale per raggiungere i principali punti d interesse della città.... camera un po' piccola ma molto pulita colazione semplice ma buona personale gentilissimo e super disponibile..wi fi gratis ...super consigliato
