This spa has been on my bucket list for many years, and I expected an incredible experience to match the price point. I felt nickel and dimed every time I turned around, extra fee to price match specials, extra fee to gain early access to the spa, and an ask for a staff tip at the time of checkout. I am more than happy to tip well for exceptional service, but unfortunately, that was hard to find. The outdoor pool had small bugs that were quite aggressive, no dry robes or towels at the station, I had an excellent massage (Fire and Ice), but was disappointed to learn there are no licensed RMTs; therefore, I was not able to submit it to my benefits provider. Leading up to the trip, I had called a number of times, and nobody answered the phones; the communication on check-in and spa access was lacking, and there was often nobody in the spa to help. The room was extremely hot! we called and had it adjusted once, but were woken in the night with the temp being very high again. The room and view were beautiful, but not set up for a "friends" trip, glass shower with no privacy, tiny enclosed toilet area. Dinner in the Peaks was excellent however, the service was not. The complimentary breakfast and valet parking were very appreciated. I am glad I was able to check this one off my spa bucket list, but I can say I will not return. There are so many spas that have really upped their service game; if I am going to invest money into an experience, I expect to be wowed!
