Top locatie met prachtig zicht op meer. Zeer mooie inrichting. Basiskamer heeft eenvoudige badkamer. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Personnel très accueillant et arrangeant quand il faut l’être. Un grand merci à vous pour nous avoir permis de passer deux jours dans un cadre idyllique au bord du lac majeur. Nous recommandons l’établissement !

Hotel belle époque très calme au bord du lac. Très belle terrasse. Piscine couverte. Parking un peu compliqué. Dommage que les petits déjeuners ne soient pas servis en extérieur.

We just returned from our trip to Lake Maggiore where we stayed at the Grand Hotel Majestic at the end of our Viking Cruise. The hotel was wonderful as were the amazing staff. A big shout out to Marianna who was so helpful in arranging a private boat with Pierre and making dinner reservations for our group of 5. We all absolutely loved the hotel and the whole area which was non touristy, quiet and peaceful. The veranda was so nice at the end of the day . We cannot wait to return.

Just back from 6 days at Lake Maggiore staying at the Grand Hotel Majestic. Lots to do (ferry rides to local towns, palaces on the Borrowmean Islands, Villa Taranto, even a scenic ride on the Centovalli train to Locarno in Switzerland) but key was the hotel itself. Very spacious and smart with lawns down to the Lake (lots of sunbeds) and our room was newly decorated with huge bathroom and a south-facing balcony overlooking the water (perfect for Prosecco !). Good restaurant but lots of local choice too (only 5 minutes walk). Were made to feel very welcome by new manager Thomas Schmidt and his excellent staff. Will definitely return.

Firstly, the positives of this place: - close to town, and there are many choices to dine we found ourmt the next night. - right on the lake (which this time of year you can still swim) - decor and architecture is great - good pool/ gym and sauna facility - reception staff were very good - shout out to Lorenzo also who provided great F&B service We were part of a tour (which is pitched at well travelled people in small tour environments). As such we might have been expecting better. Cons: - breakfast was not good, nor was service in that area. This was amplified by identifiable better service for other groups, with no discernible tariff differences in speaking with them. - dinner as guests of hotel incurred an additional charge to sit down and eat - seriously, it's a risorante! Not sure if could have a stand and eat option but plate would be difficult to balance

Beautiful setting on the lake, with view of lake from our room. The room was large. The bathtub was deep. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience.

We have just completed a ten day stay at the Grand Hotel Majestic and it was a wonderful stay. It's located on the shore of Lake Maggiore with beautiful grounds, fabulous facilities and very attentive staff. The area is magnificent with beautiful botanic gardens within a short walk and accessed by an excellent ferry service. The town of Pallanza is small but houseds a number of excellent restaurants and bars and the towns of Stresa and Intra are close by. It's a beautiful place to stay, made even more special by those that work at the hotel.

Hotel is in much need of some updates. The sheets and bedding were all ripped and ball-y and the carpets are stained. One pillow each on bed. We were really disappointed after staying at the hotel majestic in bologna. Would not rate this as a 5 star hotel more like 3. Location is great and breakfast buffet was just ok. Most hotels now let you order omelets or eggs how you like, we missed that. This is our 4th time to the lakes and we would not stay here again. Hotel needs some painting and updates to rooms

We stayed here as part of our Viking extension. We had a nice room overlooking the lake. The bed was not the best, and as with older hotels, there were some "charming" things to consider. We turned on the little lights on the ceiling, and they blew out. The bedside lamp had a frayed cloth wire with the metal exposed (I have not seen such a wire in probably 50 years). We reported these issues, but it was a weekend. I expected the lamp to be replaced because that's definitely a fire hazard, but no. Anyway, it's a pretty place, the air conditioning worked well, and it's a five minute walk to town with its many restaurants.

This hotel is amazing ! Staff are super helpful and attentive - nothing is too much trouble for them. Room service is the best I’ve ever had - fresh pasta delivered to the room in under 20 min (had hangovers)! In the best location - right in the hustle bustle but rooms are so quiet . We will 100% be coming back here .

Si es verdad que el alojamiento es algo clásico, pero tiene un encanto muy especial. El personal es súper agradable y siempre están dispuesto a ayudarte ( en todos los departamentos ) . Los jardines son espectaculares, muy amplios y con mucho espacio para no sentirte agobiado con el resto de huéspedes. La entrada privada al lago es súper idílica y la piscina está genial!! La ubicación también perfecta! A 5 minutos a pie de la plaza principal Del pueblo y a 20 minutos en coche del otros pueblos más grandes y concurridos. Nos ha encantado! Volveremos sin dudarlo!

Guten Tag die Erfahrungen, welche meine Frau und ich im GRAND HOTEL MAJESTIC (vier-Sterne-Hotel) in Verbania gemacht haben, sind leider sehr unbefriedigend und unschön: Die Parkordnung vor dem Haus ist chaotisch. Die Reception ist viel zu klein für ein so grosses Hotel. Die Willkommens-Atmosphäre ist leider nicht wohltuend. Die Teppiche sind zwar sauber, aber tzotzdem unappetitlich. Das Zimmer wird Junior-Suite genannt, ist aber eher ein grosses Standard-Zimmer. Die Matratze ist keine grosse Doppelbett-Matratze sondern es sind zwei Einzelbett-Matratzen zusammengeschoben. Dies nennen wir Vortäuschung falscher Tatsachen. Der Balkon ist schmutzig und Tisch & Stühle sind mit Vogeldreck bekleckst. Wie haben um ca 1600 Uhr eingecheckt. Vorgängig hatten wir telefonisch das Zimmer reserviert. Leider hat die Receptionistin uns nicht gewarnt, dass ein Event mit lauter Techno-Musik auf der Wiese vor unerem Fenster stattfand. Erst vor 1900 Uhr stoppte die laute Musik. Somit waren unsere ersten 3 Stunden mit lautem Lärm gestört. Beim Dinner war die Begrüssung sehr marginal. Ebenfalls die Verabschiedung – niemand sagte auf herzliche, freundliche Art auf Wiedersehen. Der Rotwein war sehr billige Qualität – praktisch ungeniessbar. Der gemischte Salat meiner Frau ging vergessen. Meine Hauptmahlzeit war eine absolute Mini-Portion und das Fleisch ungeniessbar. Es scheint, dass es hier nur ums «Geldverdienen» geht?! Beim Frühstück war wiederum weder ordentliche herzliche Begrüssung noch Verabschiedung vorhanden. Die Omelette musste separat bezahlt werden (10 Euro) (im vier-Sterne-Hotel!!). Beim Check-Out war das Personal absolut nicht kritikempfänglich. Es gab keinerlei Einsicht, dass all unsere gemachten Erfahrungen, objektiv betratchtet, ungenügend – ja eine Schande sind. Good day The experiences that my wife and I had at the GRAND HOTEL MAJESTIC (four-star hotel) in Verbania are unfortunately very unsatisfactory and unpleasant: The parking regulations in front of the house are chaotic. The reception is far too small for such a large hotel. Unfortunately, the welcoming atmosphere is not pleasant. The carpets are clean, but still unappetizing. The room is called a junior suite, but is more of a large standard room. The mattress is not a large double bed mattress but rather two single bed mattresses pushed together. This is what we call misrepresentation. The balcony is dirty and the table and chairs are covered in bird droppings. We checked in at around 4 p.m. We had previously reserved the room by telephone. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn't warn us that an event with loud techno music was taking place on the lawn outside our window. The loud music only stopped before 7 p.m. So our first 3 hours were disturbed by loud noise. The wel

sono stato lì con la mia compagnia, in quanto le ho regalo in questo hotel un weekend romantico, l’esperienza è stata fantastica, la suite al quarto piano vista lago e’ proprio quello che cercavo per staccare dal lavoro e godermi un po’ di bel panorama al mattino, l’aperitivo appena arrivato è stato fantastico , con lo spumante che poteva solo che migliorare l’atmosfera , la struttura ci ha anche aiutato a visitare la città, prenotandoci un pomeriggio nel giardino villa taranto, la cena è stata super, di solito sono diffidente nel cenare nelle strutture, ma questa volta mi sono dovuto ricredere, cena buonissima e anche un livello di attenzione non indifferente in quanto la mia compagnia è celiaca , e la struttura ha saputo metterci a proprio agio trovando il menu giusto senza nessun tipo di problema. tornerò!!!
