Cornerways

Decided to visit Linda & Stuart, the excellent owners & hosts of this perfect B&B, as per usual everything you need is here, large, well-appointed en-suite rooms, spotlessly clean and everything one needs in the room. Healthy breakfast options are available of which is perfectly fresh & plentiful, nothing is to much trouble. Situated between Ventnor and Bonchurch makes it an ideal location for your every needs. We will be back in about 6 weeks, only just left and missing this place and the IOW. Thank you Stu, get well soon Linda.

What a lovely place to stay. First a warm welcome from Stuart. The rooms are large and airy and spotlessly clean. There is a downstairs sitting room which we really appreciated, with interesting books about the history of Ventnor out on the table. There is a grassy garden terrace too for sitting outside. The walk into the centre of town is only about 15 mins, and it feels like a botany trail because of all the luscious flowering plants tumbling over (and through!) people's garden walls. We did think that because it's called a B+B the room rate would include breakfast, but looking more carefully at the booking confirmation it does say clearly that it's room only. A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I would love to stay there again.

Great hosts, great hotel, basket breakfasts were lovely. 5 min walk to the volunteer, 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, 20 min walk to the spyglass inn. If your eating out in Ventnor it's advised to book as restaurants are small and busy.

An amazing return visit. We were warmly greeted by our hosts Linda and Stuart . Cornerways is a beautiful house where we feel relaxed the minute we enter. It is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very quiet. We particularly appreciate the optional continental breakfast served in a picnic basket and delivered to your room at your chosen time. This stay was primarily to visit the Bonchurch Open Gardens which was an absolute delight Cornerways is situated only a ten minute stroll from the village so a car was not necessary (no parking hassle involved), A shuttle bus was on hand for transport between various gardens if required. All in all a fantastic weekend and one we intend to repeat next year. Cornerways has a 100% recommendation from us!

Lovely place to stay, very quiet, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Stuart was very friendly and helpful, always willing to advise on where to go and what to see. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful and comfortable stay

Great place to rest your head. High quality room, friendly and helpful staff, clean and great value for money. Sumptuous bed. Excellent healthy breakfast brought to your room. I would certainly go back and would also recommend to friends.
