(I tried to add photos to my review and the website is not allowing them to upload.) We came to this hotel in August 2022 as a family for a two-week vacation by the beach. In order to stay for a few weeks we took a reservation at a hotel that was less expensive so that we can also for a longer stay and the beach cabana. That said we weren't expecting the have that hotel that was more than what a two-star should be. But I was very disappointed with many aspects of the hotel in addition to the hotel owner insulting me. We had the largest room at the hotel since we are a family of four and it was very spacious which I was glad about. But the air conditioning was not very good, and clearly needed a filter cleaning, and the furniture seems to be quite old broken and and not necessarily adapted to a hotel room. Also I did not want to pay €10 a day for a baby bed (most hotels in Venice don't require extra for a baby bed by the way) so I brought one myself. And then I was very glad I did because given the state of the high chair they allowed us to use at breakfast I don't think it would have been a very nice bed if I had used theirs. Speaking of beds, the ones we had in where HORRIBLE! I did not sleep the first night because it was so painful on the terrible mattress. I was never comfortable on that bed. My back was killing me the wilhole time for their terrible mattress. And the pillows were so flat, they clearly hadn't been changed in years either. The team of three women who took care of the breakfast and the cleaning of the hotel worked extremely hard so I made sure I gave them each a tip at the end of our stay, they were so sweet. The managing family which show up around 9 or 10 and take care of administrative work in an office that was in the dining room so guests had to see them at their desks with their papers scattered everywhere and one of the tables in the dining room was reserved uniquely for the family's paperwork. So there was less room for guests to sit and eat. Also they had filled the walls with pictures of their own family vacations. That might be lovely in someone's private home but I found it rather odd to put it in a hotel, I did not feel like looking at their family vacation pictures. It was almost as if they wanted to insist on the fact that this was a family run hotel, to thwart any misgivings guests might have about their stay. but, it wasn't run very well, at least not by the family. The 3 Moldavite women who are their employees do ALL the hard work. Occasionally one of the family members whether it was the wife or the son or the husband would ask us how we were doing but it was never actually a question to find out how we were doing it was just a politeness. And in fact there there were a few days where we did not receive a replacement of the toiletries so we had to ask the women who worked at the hotel for some extras and they handed it to us as if it was secret and contraband! Like they were not supposed to be doing
