Locanda Casa Querini

Really wonderful and helpful hosts. Excellent room with en-suite bath, just steps away from the main San Marco sites, yet absolutely quiet at night for a great night's sleep. I cannot recommend Casa Querini highly enough - and I will without doubt stay here the next time I'm in Venice.

Nice, small family operated B&B close to St. Mark's, but away from the crowds. Caterina and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts. They had suggestions for restaurants, and tours, and were a pleasure to work with. Easy to get to from the Alilaguna dock. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend,

Great location near San Marco and vaporetto yet quiet. Very nice hosts. Beautiful room, though small. (Our choice.) It was very stuffy, probably due to the humid weather. Not hot enough for the A/C to run, but moist.

The location is excellent. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Piazza San Marco and all the shops and restaurants nearby. It's also only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The inn is in a quiet campo (square) that feels very private and away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. The room was immaculately clean and fairly spacious. I don't have a photo, but it looked just like the one in the listing here on Tripadvisor. The bathroom was small but functional. You may want to bring a small portable fan with you to help control the temperature in case the air conditioning is not turned on yet. Breakfast was very satisfactory with a nice assortment of protein, yogurt, breads, cake, and, of course, cappuccino. The family that operates the inn are wonderful hosts - warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. If you are looking for luxury with a 24 hour doorman, concierge and lots of extra fancy things, this is not the place for you. But, if you value comfort, cleanliness, location and good hospitality, I highly recommend Locanda Casa Querini. My family and I would absolutely stay there again on our next trip to Venice.

Nice, reasonably priced family run tiny b&b packed in a quiet square with easy access to vaporettos & San Marco. The rooms were very clean, showers great and good AC - important during the very very hot summer season. We stayed for one night, and really enjoyed our short stay with central location and warm welcome of the hotel. The local suggestions for eating nearby and the Veccia Murano shop/museum tour were quite touristic and not value for money for our taste. If really interested of glass blowing & wishing the learn the techniques etc., better visit the Murano island with own prestudy than the rather sales pitch type of Veccia Murano w/ rip off prices next door. Veniceoriginal.it is a good starting point for real Venice creations. For us Verde Bistro was good choice for a quick lunch in fully packed hot Venice near the hotel.

A lovely hotel in a quiet area. Ideal location accessible to all the attractions. The room was good, shower and air con worked well as it was soooooo hot. Breakfast was adequate, Wi-Fi worked well, very friendly and chatty. I made a mistake and left the hotel with the keys! I can only imagine the frustration, but they called me and helped me leave the keys at a bar by the ferry port so they could go out of their way and pick them up, very kind of them. I apologise once again!
