Sunrise Lodge

Sun Rise Lodge is a nice Lodge, with few simple and neat rooms where I appreciate to stay while travelling to Varanasi. In this ancient family House, at Meer Ghat, the people are very kind and the atmosphere is friendly with a superb view on Ganga. Situated in the old city, they will kindly help the travellers to reach their Lodge between the traditional and labyrinthic lanes. Himabindu - Mireille-Josephine G. (France)

This is a great place. Location is awesome. Just on ghat. Very close to the main temples. The host is very friendly and supportive. Had a very nice experience. They always go out of the way to help the guests. The food was also very nice. The price is also decent.

Wow! The best place I could find! Straight in front of Ganga Ma river. A dream ✨ The host, Manu, is very kind and pleasant :-) They serve veg food from the restaurant below as well, which is not bad at all.

It's my pleasure to get the opportunity to stay at Mannu Ji's(owner) place Sun Rise Lodge next to Alka hotel at Mir Ghat.Location was more than expectation.I never saw such helpful person ie Mannu Ji.

Stayed at the sun rise lodge for 2 nights. It's a budget friendly place with an excellent view of the river Ganga.Clean rooms with 24 hrs hot water in the bathroom.Kashi vishwanath temple is 5 mins by walk.Excellent location , can have a nice walk through the ghats to most of the places.Very homely place, polite staff and nice homely food.The host Vikasji was very helpful right from the time of booking and took good care of us.He arranged everything and guided us throughout the trip like an elder brother.Thank you vikasji for making us feel at home.Will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sunris Lodge. The room was simple but clean. The Lodge is located at one of the ghats, very close to Dashashwamedh and Manikarnika ghats. I have arrived late at night, the host helped me to find a tuk-tuk and met me later on a bike to drive me to the lodge. It might be problematic to get there if you have a lot of luggage, the historic city of Varanasi has small streets where only bikes can go. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to varanasi.
