The Art Hotel by Via Varanasi

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are very comfortable overlooking a Pateo. The toilets are spacious and clean. The staff are outstanding Will be back for sure. The restaurant serves very good honest food. Top location Good value for money.

The Art hotel is one of the best Place I've come across in my travel experiences. From Safety, Comfort, Rooms quality to Service and ***agement, everything is greatly taken care of. The Hosts - Avi make sure your stay is comfortable. I initially booked for 1Night but ended up extending my stay for 3Nights. Even though it was my Solo Trip, I never felt lonely at this place. Made great new friends and memories. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Art Hotel and would surely stay back next time I visit Varanasi. I recommend this to all travelers to book this place without second thoughts. The location from the Hotel and nearby Ganga Ghat Main Street is perfect. Food which serve amazing food. It was great ful for me. The hotel was located at nice place also near the Assi ghat. Staff was very helpful. Food 🍲 was very delicious and everything was very good. When I will come back to Varanasi for lovely hotel stay like a Art Hotel by VIA VARANASI.

Overpriced and ill maintained This place is exorbitantly overpriced for the rooms and the service it provides. Book if you get for 3k plus tax. Anything above and you will be bleeding your money and mental peace. We paid 4.8k, so trust me, it's not worth it. Room - no windows and very dimly lit. You'll have to ask for basic stuff even if you give time to get room ready (cost cutting). They'll charge you for everything and the food is super expensive with tea at 106/ per cup. The food for the price is below expected in quality. Bed - mostly people take hotels in benaras for a good shut eye between temple visits and good luck getting sleep in these beds. My rationale for booking at the price was essentially this and, boy, i was disappointed. The garden is beautiful until you start seeing insects and mosquitos in your room. Oh, and no they will not give you a liquidator. The empty machine is all you get for the 'satisfaction'. Bathroom - Another reason why i booked this place at the price. Washroom must be good. Washroom seats are like twisted (Pic attached) and the flush has no pressure. Remember the phrase 'like an unflushed turd'.. Stay here and you'll get the 'darshan' of that too. Location - Everytime you head our, unless you are going to assi ghat, you'll pay 100 bucks. Might as well pay a premium and save time. Your call. Staff - the place is grossly understaffed. The restaurant area has no switchboard connectivity. And no AC either. Overall this place belongs to a very money oriented person, who will not focus on service per se. Good luck if you've already booked here. I hope you get the aim right in the washroom. 😂

I was treated very well at this hotel. Highlight for Ragini, Ranjeet and their entire team. Very attentive and concerned about my well being there. Comfortable and clean room. Good location. Breakfast and tasty meals

this hotel was amazing there was everything available in this hotel they had proper kitchen they served very hygienic and tasty food for us and most important thing was the courtyard . They have a separate sitting areas for house guests - not allowed for outsiders which provides safety , this hotel is totally recommended for girls who want to travel solo because hotel provides safety for all guests

The Art hotel locate at the best place. The hotel food was great and The Assi ghat was just 300m from the hotel. There was garden, restaurant, and big reception in the hotel. Hotel service was good.

green and arty place in chaotic crowded city. Very near to most of attractions, the small hotel is full of artefacts and paintings by renowned artists. Foods is nice although they take their own time to cook . Surely, a lagoon in the dense holy city and that too only 200 meters away from famous assi Ghat . Earlier reported rainy issues are resolved it seems as there was no such issue when we stayed. Surely we will come back .

The room was quite small. The place looked like some makeshift arrangement. They are very noisy too. On 21st morning, we found mushrooms growing in the gap between floor and fixed table. Thanks to Priyanshu for removing it 😀😀 Same evening, when we returned to the hotel after dinner, our room was flooded and more so water was dripping from the ceiling too, after the rain. All our bags were wet from the celling drip (thankfully they were kept on the table) laptop charger was soaked and so were other things. Attitude of the ***ager and the owner was horrible. They didn’t come to examine the situation inspite of our repeated calls. When I asked him why don’t you come and sort it out, he rudely told me ‘i am taking your calls’. Other guests of room 6 also had to change room due to water flooding. We had to change room thrice at 11 p.m as all the rooms had seepages either from the bedside or foot side or both. Also the bed linen was dirty, we asked them to change the bed linen, and they didn’t have it. They had to get it from their other hotel « via Varanasî » which was again 20-25 mins of wait. Only Priyanshu helped us with whatever limited means he could. Thankfully the other rooms were vacant else we would have been completely stranded in the middle of the night!! We asked them to not charge us for the night that we were without room until almost midnight, but they were quite rough in their approach, assuming we were looking for some freebies. 10k for 2 nights for this quality of room is way tooooo much!! Just an Inn with a fancy name.
