Overall, a very good hotel. Super-helpful with an early check-in; great 19th-floor pool and bar/food service; comfy room with blackout drapes, quiet/efficient HVAC, and nice sound insulation; decent, fast room service.
Only one downer on the staff/service front: The housekeeping service (which I only used three times in a week) was pretty lame. Frankly, it seemed rushed. Didn't see much evidence of vacuuming. Sweetener packets on the floor, grunge in the bathroom, sink not thoroughly cleaned, toilet not well brushed out.
Worst of all for my mental health, the coffee service was uneven. Sometimes, no stirrers. Sometimes, three decafs and no cafs. Sometimes, all sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Do they have a list that they can simply tick off? If so, do they understand it? I tip service people VERY well, and I know their jobs are often not great, but the coffee service on the whole was more suitable for a 2.5-star hotel, not a 4-star.
