This is a great hotel. Good location in a quiet street close to the centre of the town and very convenient for most things. It has very few rooms but each is spacious, well set out and very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the basement and is very good. Plenty of choice and good quality. Maja, who runs the hotel was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and an excellent source of advice on what to do and where to go. Our first time to visit Malta and a great success.

Everything was perfect, the manager Maja is kind and helpful for suggesting points of interest. Hotel is located in historical centre, very close to major attractions, clean, quiet and beautifully restored with antiquities. We stayed in October 2022 and had the largest suite Hatley (duplex with independent entrance). We loved Malta, such an enchanting old city, definitely worth visiting again!

Lovely boutique hotel just a few minutes from the centre. Bedroom was spacious and comfy. The breakfast is in the rooms at the bottom of the building which are full if character. The breakfast itself was limited and a little disappointing but we loved Valetta itself which had endless bars and restaurants. We visited the old hospital and watched an information film about Malta's history which we'd recommend.

I absolutely love the Coleridge Hotel. It is located on a side street in the heart of Valletta. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, a huge tastefully decorated suite, the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was tasty. The service was OUTSTANDING. Maja and her team were immediately responsive to our every need. They gave us great direction on how to get around the island and what to see. They were always extremely pleasant and kind. I can't speak highly enough about them. I cannot recommend the Coleridge any higher. If you intend to go to Malta, and by the way, you must, do yourself a favor and stay at the Coleridge.

This place is located in the heart of Valletta. It is walking distance to everything in just a few minutes. The staff was exceptional and completely helpful in directions and things to do. I would stay here again without a doubt.

What a wonderful place to stay at. Just off the action, but easy to find, we had the upper room with a real treat of a hot tub on the roof. Stunning view of the Basilica. Really friendly staff, plentiful breakfast, clean and comfortable. We will come again and recommend to friends.

We had booked this hotel without looking at the reviews here. We feel the more recent reviews accurately reflect the place, so perhaps the management has been changed. Certainly Maja was most helpful and dealt well with a noise problem we encountered from a faulty pump on the roof, just above our top floor room. We did not look at any of the other rooms and suspect they may be less sunny than ours, even if a bit larger. The place is comfortable and very quiet, well located for restaurants and getting around the city. We we felt the wet room style bathroom, with a marble floor, was a mistake, and a shower screen would improve it and would be easy to fit. Breakfasts were fine once we got some stronger coffee! A definite recommendation from a demanding reviewer.
