For starters the house itself is nestled in a neighborhood in Granada and really made you feel like you were got to be a part of the community while your where there. The house itself, is immaculate and was maintained beautifully. The pool was lovely and my daughter enjoyed lounging in there for endless hours. The room was beautiful and large (we stayed in the family suite I believe) and comfortable fit 4 with room to spare. We even asked for an additional bed for a friend and without hesitation, they made it happen for us. The views of the laguna and the outdoor dining/ pool area where spectacular and you could even hear the wrestling of the monkeys in the trees in the mornings if you were lucky. I quite literally could have spent the entire trip here and have been perfectly content. The staff was a true delight and every single person we came across went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. I am unable to express how amazing they all were and how grateful we are to them. Everyday, when a new team member came in, they all made a point to check in, and see how we were doing, ask if we needed anything and really made us feel like family. The food, WOW is all I have to say! Every single meal we had prepared here was delightful and the complementary breakfast was the highlight of every day. As a daughter of a Nicaraguan, the Nica Breakfast tasted like childhood and never disappointed. Sometimes, they even spoiled us with fresh avocado ;) We ate dinner there at least 5 of the 7 nights we where there and when I say not a single meal disappointed us, I mean it. Overall, if you couldn't already tell, I highly recommend you stay at El Guayacan if you will be in the Granada area. I have already began dreaming of my next trip and will be referring everyone I know to check it out for themselves.
