The hotel Puerta del Sur is in a paradise-like location, surrounded by tall trees and an nature-rich wetland. The view from the hotel rooms, lobby and breakfast room is amazing. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Best Hotel I have ever stayed at in my 20 years business traveling.

Clean hotel and well located
But during our stay, an electricity shutfown occurs from 20:00 hrs until 12:00 am next day.
So I expected some courtesy from the hotel (discount or bonus for the next stay),but nothing of that happens.

Showed up a little early and the clerk had already our room available for us. Very clean and quiet, I really love this place, the view is spectacular.
Best breakfast ever with fresh bread, and pastries. Staff very friendly. Definitely I'll come back.

Nice hotel with river view. They control the temperature of the room and mattress is just standard. You depend on other visitors behave since the acoustic isolation is not great but there's no street noise. The restaurant was not open but there are good options around 10 minutes walking. Overall, I would recommend it.

Excelente hotel en Valdivia, específicamente en isla teja. Súper bien ubicado, la habitación si bien antigua, estaba impecable. El entorno donde está ubicado el hotel es precioso. Buen desayuno y el personal muy amable. Volvería a alojarme aquí visitar nuevamente Valdivia.

Un gran hotel con una hermosa vista inigualable. El personal es de primera amable y de muy buena disposición. Las tinajas son increíbles. Los desayunos buffet son muy ricos y abundante y con una vista privilegiada. La verdad es que el Hotel es una excelente experiencia,es más que una estadía.

Buena estadía, limpia las instalaciones y bien mantenidas. Amplia variedad en el desayuno buffet, pero lo que creo que se debe mejorar es la carta para almorzar y cenar que es muy acotada.
