Airelles Val d'Isere

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I cannot recommend it enough. The standard is exceptional, one of the best we have had. They have lovely restaurants and bar, although we find the service a little rude and slow on occasions, especially at LouLou, however this is not to dampen the overall experience of the stay. The quality of the hotel is exceptional and the food. I would like to highly commend the boot room staff, who probably don't get mentioned much, they are exceptional, so friendly and helpful - I have never experienced anything like it at a ski resort. Previous years we have stayed at the hotel, but this year we stayed at their Chalet Schuss next door, still with full use of the hotel and this was also exceptional. We had our own Concierge, Constantin, who was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him and anticipated our needs ahead of us. Also Mary our Housekeeper and Rudolph our Chef. One of the best holidays we have had. We have stayed at other Airelles properties and they have a very high standard.

we went from Tinges to have dinner at your hotel.( 8 Mar 24) after we finished our dinner we asked the waitress to get a taxi for us back to Tinges, she said we have to ask the concierge downstair so we did. the concierge was very rude and unhelpful He said there is no taxi after 6pm he said “please ask your hotel to pick us back to Tinges” we did argue with him because we do believe this is an unexceptable service from a hotel like Airelles. you should see from your CCTV ( around 8.50pm 8th Mar 2024 at cocierge desk) how rude and unhelpful he did to us. after a few argue he got a taxi for us. the taxi he said taxi service is available all night! this even make us feel even worse with your hotel. compare to Le Airelles Courchevel the service there was exceptional! all the staff there were so nice and polite.

Yesterday me and my friends went to have dinner at Airelles Val d'Isère after dinner we ask the concierge(the gentleman with glasses) to call taxi back to our hotel He even not help us to get a taxi he very rude personality that you cant believe this is 5 star service . We ll not come back here again

Me and my family are fond of les airlles properties especially the one at courchevel due to their good service and the quality pf the food at their restaurants. I cant say that for les airelles val d’ isere, the service was bad, the concierge was so rude and unhelpful. He refused to book us a taxi and claimed that the taxi was not operating after 18.00 pm and although we were a hotel guest (we went to have dinner at their hotel) , we were not a residence and so he could not offer the shuttle service. Didnt expect this kind if treatment from a hotel like les airlles, definitely not coming back here….

The level of detail at this hotel is insane. Imagine my surprise to find monogrammed notebook with my initials on my night stand. Also was gifted a beautiful ski jacket from reputed brand custom made for the hotel. All this to add to my upgrade. Location is stunning too, with beautiful views of the mountains with ski in and ski out facilities. This will be a yearly must do trip.

Front of house staff outside very rude. I was 10 mins early for my table and told I had arrived at the wrong time. Returned 10 mins later and told the table not ready and to go and wait for another 15 mins. Asked if they could find another table as children hungry. Communication from one member of staff felt rude and aggressive and not friendly or accommodating. I noticed that she kept wiping her nose with the back of her hand and playing with her hair which is not professional or hygienic in a restaurant setting. However, food was very good, tables very comfortable and most of the other staff were warm and friendly. Such a shame that front of house were so rude and unwelcoming and for this reason I would not go back.

The restaurant outside has the worst reception staff. Asked us to wait while our table will be ready and sit in an area with table and chairs but you couldn’t get a drink!! So we left. Just awful. The staff is parachuted from outside Val d’Isere and has no clue how to treat and greet customers.

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews of anything. I felt compelled to leave a review of Airelles Val d'Isere because in all of my years of travel to five star hotels including numerous Aman resorts throughout Asia, I have never experienced a staff like we did at the Airelles. Their motto is that they try to anticipate your every need and they truly did. When the staff realized my daughter loved crepes, plates of them magically appeared in our rooms after skiing. When I commented on the delicious welcome cake that was in our room upon our arrival, they gave me one to take home on the day of departure. Fun snacks and drinks were plentiful throughout the hotel. It was our first time visiting Val but the staff made us feel like we were family. Nothing was too much. We work hard for our money and when we take a trip I want it to be as luxurious as possible and this was better than I imagined. It is an expensive hotel but completely worth it. I cannot recommend it enough.

I visited the restaurant LouLou after a morning of skiing. The main good point was the food being fantastic. The rest of the visit wasn't ideal. We pre booked a table inside and on arrival we weren't spoken to for around 10 minuets. After finally being shown towards our table we had to go around the hotel and take our ski boots off to enter the restaurant. This didn't seem too bad after a while however considering we were the only group who wasn't allowed ski boots on inside things became rather annoying. 100% the staff on entry letting the entire place down.
