I recently booked a stay at Golden Tulip Vasundhara through MMT, and due to a mistake, I accidentally reserved a twin bed instead of a king-sized one. Since I was traveling with an infant and it was also my birthday, I immediately informed their Reservations Manager, Manish, of the error. I requested a king-size bed and also asked if they could arrange a small birthday gesture, like a complimentary cake, as most star-rated hotels do. However, I was met with a rather abrupt response from Manish and the Duty Manager, Prashant, who informed me that the management was not supportive of such requests, and therefore, it couldn't be accommodated. The attitude seemed indifferent and far from the hospitality standards you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. If such rigid and unsupportive behavior continues, I doubt the hotel will run successfully for long. Mr. Harsh, I hope this review sheds light on the reality of the service here. There’s room for a lot of improvement if they wish to compete with other hotels that truly value their guests' experience.
