Utne Hotel

One of the cutes Hotels I ever experienced. I immediately felt like home. It is such a warm cozy place. You can see how much love and effort was put into keeping this old hotel and the old building. There are so many little details. Big recommendation to go there. I fell in love with it, the moment I waked in the doors.

Nice location. The dinner was good with an interesting wine package if wanted. The breakfast was excellent ! The staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is old-fashioned giving a specific atmosphere in the hotel. The room (a historic one with garden view) was quite small. So, ok for a one or two-night stay at the most.

A simple, charming, small, traditional family-run hotel on the edge of Hardangerfjord. Bedroom was ok, although the bed was very soft, with a strange mattress / topper arrangement. Bathroom (shower, no bath) was good. Fjord-view rooms look out over the terrace (noisy until 2300/2330) and the ferry docking station, which is noisy when a ferry arrives/departs - the first is 0630 during the week, 0730/0830(Sat/Sun). The rest of the time, it’s very quiet. But great views of the fjord! Breakfast buffet is good, although no hot dishes offered. Dinner is very good indeed. Wi-fi works ok. Overall, a nice little hotel for a couple of nights. But the price is ridiculous. It’s a simple, 3-star hotel. But there are not many options in the area.
