Do not come here to stay!! Restaurant and view is okay but that’s about it. Dirty, dated hotel. Absolutely not 4 star!!!!! You get a better services in 3 star mountain cottage!!! Staff was relatively okay. Must praise Jakub from the restaurant as he’s the only one that presents well and knows what he’s doing. The rest (very average) Some interesting staff clothing, including flip flops with sock. Appalling, they all look scruffy and like they are off to Tesco to do their weekly shop. Even jeans and trainers and hoodies. Hotel room, just shocking. See pictures. Dirty unkept room, dated, smelly room. Lamp was broken, bathroom handle broken, stains on the carpets, dusty chair, filthy stained net curtains, 4 star hotel and you have IKEA 2euro shower curtain. Very basic cheep shower, no minibar, no room service menu or information. Forget your “clean my room” tag as they’ll ignore it anyway. They apparently only work in the morning, so if you decide to get up at 10:30 you will miss your cleaning slot!!! Breakfast - no one greets you or sits you down. Everything is self serve including your tea and coffee from a machine !!!! Yes 4 star hotel and coffee from a vending machine. No a-la cart cooked breakfast just some self served scrambled eggs snd cooked meets. Poor choice and if you decide to go 40 min before breakfast is finish then your choice is extremely limited!!! Nothing will be topped up. Over all reception/lobby and lobby bar feel is just depressing. Poor lighting in the evening, everywhere plastic and fabric flowers which are giving the place a very cheep feel!! Over all staff was okay, food in the restaurant was nice. Gorgeous building with so much history and potential but you can’t help but feel that they are suppressing that. Lovely views. Also to get into town the quickest way is to use the cable car lift into the shopping centre which in my view should be included to use for free for staying guests but it’s not, you have to pay or get a taxi from the hotel into town. Overall review is EXTREMELY disappointing. I will not stay there again or would I recommend it to anyone!!! Embarrassing place. I think the owner and Ústí nad Labem town hall should spend few days in one of their 2900 Czech koruna rooms incognito to have the true experience. Disgusting!!!

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! We went to the restaurant for dessert and drinks after our meal in town. We are a group of 5, 2 are from Czech who live in the US now and the rest are from the US. We came in with masks (no staff had any mask or COVID precautions) and we're sat at a table. After viewing the menu for a little a man server (grey beard) came and asked to see our vaccine cards. We all pulled out our vaccination cards as well as our passenger card QR codes that we filled out to enter the country. After his system "wasn't working" to scan our QR codes he proceeded to go on and on about why he couldn't serve us but none of it made sense. He wouldn't accept our vaccination cards or our paperwork that was REQUIRED to enter the country. We have had NO problem eating at any other restaurants, going into any other places in Prague and the surrounding cities we have visited. He was rude and kept speaking for 20 minutes while we could have just left and gone somewhere else for drinks and desserts. By the time we left everything else was closed. On the way out of the restaurant a lady who was seated stopped the waiter to try and help us, she was from the UK... mind you the UK is considered a COVID HOT SPOT RIGHT NOW! And the US is not!!! Super disappointed in the staff for their lack of knowledge and how rude the waiter was. Wasted our time for no reason. If you're from the US don't waste your time coming here, you'll have to wait 20 minutes listening to BS just to be turned away.

The building is stunning. On top of the hill with view over the Elbe river. The rooms are very decent indeed. Nothing luxury, just comfortable. The food in the restaurant is a missed opportunity. Maybe this is Czech style for something special, but the quality is just devastating. Today I had the ‘leg of wild boar’ in fact a slice of completely dried out meat, floating in a bath of some sauce that would better be called soup. On the plate some ‘dumplings’, pieces of some substance meshed together from pieces of white bread. Soft, tasteless, and soaken with the soup. Because of the missing pleasure I took second main course being matured beef steak. Medium rare done. In fact it was quite well done. The taste was…missing. The top however was provided with salt flakes. Many of them, very many.. so many that I would have to go to hospital with high blood pressure if I would eat that. How can they serve this!? Is it a cook really that prepares the food? I asked for grilled vegetables. Small chopped pieces that were cooked instead. Worst to that was the use of garlic powder. Easy to recognize. Absolutely disgusting. The wine was good. Ramanegra from Argentina. I come to this place for many years. Best place to sleep in this town, but still not the best ever.. The food has never been really good. Maybe this is the taste of locals?

Ik heb een geweldig verblijf gehad. Ik ben positief verrast door de medewerkers van de receptie. Altijd even vriendelijk. Ze losten alles op en wisten binnen de kortste keren welke drankje ze moesten voorzetten in de lobby. De kamer was goed en had een mooi uitzicht. Het ontbijt was goed. Volop keus en voldoende… en een lekkere Prosecco :-) Een volgende keer dat ik naar Tsjechië ga zal ik dit hotel zeker weer overwegen!

Anreise: vom Autobahnanschluss nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Reichlich kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. Laden von Elektroautos (2 x Tesla-Destination Charger) unproblematisch und preiswert möglich mit max. 11kw. Bei 66% angesteckt und bis 100% geladen (Akkukapazität 57,5 LFP, Tesla Model Y) hat gekostet 6,19€. Wird leider nicht im Netz dargestellt und selbst auf Emailanfrage wurde eine Lademöglichkeit verneint (Kopfschütteln). Dabei ist das ein echtes Verkaufsargument, da öffentliche Lademöglichkeiten und Supercharger in Tschechien echt selten sind. Check-in: Trotz online check-in, mussten wir noch eine Schlüsselkarte an der Rezeption abholen und unsere Pässe vorlegen! Ging aber recht zügig. Zimmer: Wir hatten den Raum 107 (Standard-Doppelzimmer) gelegen Richtung Tennisplatz. Sehr ruhig, kein wie immer gearteter Lärm, allerdings auch keine Aussichtslage. Hat uns nicht gestört, da wir oft schon in Aussig waren und meine Ehefrau hier gebürtig ist. Betten (mit Besucherritze) waren sehr bequem und mit jeweils 2 Kissen und mit jeweils einer angenehmen Zudecke ausgestattet. Mobiliar in gutem Zustand, gepflegt und recht modern. Kleiner Kühlschrank vorhanden. 2 Flaschen stilles Wasser gratis. Uns haben ein paar Bilder an der Wand gefehlt, hätte das Wohlfühlempfinden ein wenig gesteigert. Fernseher - einige deutsche Fernsehprogramme vorhanden. Badezimmer: Recht geräumig. Kleines Waschbecken ohne nennenswerte Abstellmöglichkeiten. Dusche in der Badewanne befindlich (was ich nicht mag, da man über den Wannenrand einsteigen muss und hier auch noch nur ein Duschvorhang verhindert, das Bad unter Wasser zu setzen). Gastronomie: Frühstück findet im Hauptrestaurant statt, bei entsprechendem Wetter kann man auch auf der Aussenterrasse sitzen. Die Qualität ist ordentlich und entspricht der Zahl der Sterne. Alleine die Brotauswahl habe ich schon üppiger gesehen. Gegessen haben wir dieses Mal nur Frühstück, aber wir haben bei vorherigen Aufenthalten schon mehrfach dort zu Mittag gegessen und immer sehr schmackhafte und handwerklich lecker zubereitete Speisen genossen. Service: Freundlich, kompetent und schnell (Fernbedienung am Fernseher war defekt. 5 Minuten später hatten wir eine Neue) Wir haben lange gehadert, da wir in den Jahren zuvor immer im Clarion Kongresshotel untergebracht waren. Preislich schon etwas preiswerter, aber hier muß der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage extra bezahlt werden. Preisunterschied sind daraus resultierend ca. 30€. Aber seit letztem Jahr gibt es im Clarion keinen Restaurantbetrieb über das Frühstück hinaus mehr. Also ein Hotel Garni. Und für uns als Teslafahrer natürlich ein valider Vorteil ist die am Hotel vorhandene Lademöglichkeit (nur für Hotelkunden).

L'hôtel est situé dans un château sur une haute colline dominant Usti. Le panorama sur le méandre de l'Elbe est stupéfiant. Le lieu est calme et l'hôtel est doté d'un parking suffisant. Notre chambre était spacieuse. La literie était très confortable. Le mobilier de style années 50-60 n'était plus tout à fait neuf mais choisi avec goût et comportait un fauteuil également confortable. La salle de bains était de taille suffisante, avec des vasques récentes. La nôtre était dotée d'une baignoire-douche, formule qui n'a sans doute plus la préférence de la clientèle, mais c'est un point mineur. Le trajet jusqu'à la salle de restaurant où est aussi servi le petit-déjeuner est un peu long, mais la salle est spacieuse, meublée dans un goût un peu ancien, avec des nappes sur les tables. Elle donne sur la terrasse avec vue sur l'Elbe. Le petit-déjeuner offre un large choix en sucré et salé avec des ingrédients de bonne qualité. Nous avons également dîné et apprécié la cuisine tchèque servie en rations généreuses. Le service est efficace et courtois. Le rapport qualité-prix est bon. Si la ville n'a pas de charme particulier, l'endroit est approprié pour visiter les bords de l'Elbe et la très belle ville voisine de Litomerice. Les points de détail signalés ci-dessus n'empêchent de recommander vivement cette adresse.

Es war ein tiefes Brummen in meinem Einzelzimmer zu hören, sodass Einschlafen unmöglich war. Die Ursache könnte sein, dass das Fenster Richtung Innenhof ist und auf dem Dach gegenüber die Ventilatoren von der Luftungsanlage installiert sind. Ich musste ein anderes Zimmer buchen. Da alle Einzelzimmer belegt waren, musste ich ein Doppelzimmer nehmen und den Aufpreis dafür zahlen. Das fand ich nicht in Ordnung. Das Personal zeigte sich unfreundlich und verlangte den Aufpreis.

Wir waren über Silvester und Neujahr in dem wunderschönen Hotel Větruše in Ústí nad Labem (Aufenthalt: 30.12.2021 - 02.01.2022). Der Service war exzellent, die Zimmer sehr gut, Minibar preiswert und natürlich die Lage hervorragend (Blick über die gesamte Stadt Ústí und über die Elbe in ihrem Verlauf). Wir würden immer wieder ein paar Tage dort verbringen.
