Hotel Mirador Essential by Balderrama Hotel Collection

Si, está el borde de la barranca. El lugar y las vistas son privilegiados. Pero toda la experiencia de poder llegar a esta ubicación y durante toda la estancia nos sentimos rehenes de esta organización. La edificación tiene un nivel de mantenimiento decente aunque tienes muchas décadas de antigüedad. Es evidente que todo el concepto del hotel está creado y operado con un cliente meta muy claro que es la clase media-baja norteamericana. Los precios de todo lo que ofrecen incluyendo el hospedaje no lo valen. Como no hay pueblito cercano y cualquier movimiento para llevarte fuera del hotel te lo cobran muy caro, quedas obligado y tomar los alimentos que son un menú fijo de costo elevadísimo, de una calidad totalmente mediocre y cantidad insuficiente. No lo recomendamos por ningún motivo y mucho menos volveríamos a este lugar. Y lo peor de todo, el trato de toda la gente en Chihuahua es de una calidad humana y profesionalismo muy elevados. Pero los hoteles Balderrama parecen ser una isla donde no se tiene este valor. Lo mismo nos pasó en el hotel Misión en Cerocahui de ellos mismos. Una verdadera pena. Se les nota el enorme éxito con ese tipo de clientela que ya mencioné y están ya muy echados a perder en el trato poco profesonal y hasta de nivel de aprendiz del personal empleado, quienes parecen estar ahí por la fuerza y de mal humor

Nice facility in a great location, rooms were clean, dinner was good and affordable

Not too happy We had a room defined as having a partial view. The view was ok. What was not ok was the partial shower, so narrow a normal-sized person hardly could get in. Towels were old - we complained and got others. So that was solved. The restaurant is definitely very over prized and no options. Only one salad, one main course and one dessert and no drinks included. Breakfast is also a rip of. Very expensive and very limited.

The staff at the front desk where horrible, everyone else were very humble and great people it was just the ladies in the front desk that had absolutely no manners, they were very rude and I’d not cared about customer service or customer comfort, the hotel it expensive and you expect good treatment but it was a horrible experience for me and my wife and for the price don’t expect luxury they have none of it, we went walking around the town and there are hotels that are way better in service and in customer service and cheaper with better amenities!! I would just not recommend anyone to stay in that place nor I will go back to it ever again!! There’s a lot more horrible stories that I can tell and it was only a two night stay…

Every staff member, especially servers Irving, Miguel, Fernando, registration Maria Jose, bartender Alexi are as courteous, helpful, professional and friendly as any we have encountered. Due to noise from the restaurant above we switched rooms and found quiet, peace and wonderful decor. The only negative was a hair found in a bowl of fruit but our server apologized profusely and quickly replaced the bowl with another. This trip was a once in a life time occasion but we will highly recommend Hotel Mirador to our traveling friends.

You can enjoy a stunning view from this hotel. However furniture is old and rooms are quite plain.
