Casitas Tenorio B&B

If I could give this little slice of heaven more stars I would. This place is perfect for so many trip types, want to see the real Costa Rica or have a relaxing, romantic, or family vacation, Mi Casa es Su Casa are all these and more wrapped up into one. The host is top-notch and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is world-class. They ensured our rooms were super clean and also provided tips to the local spots around town and other attractions. The property itself is beautiful and seamlessly blends into nature, as you walk the grounds you get to see the birds and animals of Costa Rica. The location is great as you are close enough to easily enjoy the town of Bijagua and the local attractions such as Rio Celeste but far enough away that you won't be bothered by the sounds of traffic.

What an amazing place! The moment we arrived, we were in love. The design of the space perfectly highlights the beautiful scenery and feeling of the area. It also allowed our large party to have our own separate bedrooms with a shared kitchen area to spend time catching up and save money and time on some meals. Even when there was the occasional rain, there were wonderful rocking chairs to enjoy that show from the patio. The attention to detail was impressive for cleanliness and all the kitchen needs. The host truly is a super host, being so responsive and knowledgeable about the area. It is such a tranquil spot outside of the busy part of Bijagua, while still being a close drive to all the attractions, including Rio Celeste, town restaurants and breweries, and more. We stayed for a week, but would have stayed much longer and were set up to do it with washing machine, kitchen, etc. I can definitely say that we will find our way back!

We had a great time at the Casitas. We stayed in the Toucan and it was perfect for my family of four. The location was ideal (not too far from the center of town) - we drove down into town daily and talked with everyone. Truly a warm place with such friendly people. A wonderful experience spending time in that area - our main purpose was to go to Rio Celeste, so we only spent two nights. Nana and Jeff (the hosts), are so accommodating and always available.

We loved our stay at Casitas Tenorio. Our cabin was so clean and well maintained. Located very close to town. We honestly wished we would have stayed longer. We were greeted so warmly when we arrived and staff made adjustments to breakfast so we could eat early before our excursion the next morning. There is a feeling of welcoming and warmth at Casitas Tenorio that you will miss when you leave!

A wonderful place to stay... We loved everything: the warm welcome, the great breakfasts, the confort and privacy of the "casitas" and of course, all the animals we saw : a toucan, a monkey, a sloth and many colibris. The place is close to many great activites and the owners are there to help you and give you good recommandations So thank you Nana, Cece and to all of you for a great stay.

Wonderful place. We felt very welcome during our stay. The casitas are beautiful and clean and offer a lot of privacy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they know a lot about the local community and places worth visiting. Would definitely recommend this place!

This hotel was fantastic! Our family with two small children ages 3 and 5 had the best stay here. The staff is extremely friendly and helped us to plan tours. Our kids especially loved the daily farm tour. There is a beautiful walking trail on the property with views of 2 volcanoes. The breakfast was delicious! The main lodge was equipped with lovely books, toys, puzzles and games which the kids enjoyed. It is perfectly located, close to the national park and activities available in the area. We will definitely be back-- thank you!

Our family of five stayed at the Casita El Tuscan for two nights, 5/18 - 5/20/24. We found the Casita to be very comfortable and the provided breakfasts to be fresh, delicious, and served with the doting love of a favorite aunty. We were delighted to see Howler monkeys in the trees outside our casita the day of our departure. The best parts of our stay were our interactions with the staff, principally Zissy and Nana. Zissy was generous with her time and helped us order dinner and schedule our night jungle walk. Nana prepared our meals, helped us plan our excursions, and stored our luggage after we’d checked out. More than that, it felt like we were hanging out with people who were genuinely interested in getting to know us.

Wow, where to start? This place was absolutely perfect for our group! The Casitas are awesome, but Nana and Jeffry are wonderful!!! The grounds are beautiful, it is a very relaxing vibe here. They provide a wonderful breakfast in the morning, and they are beautiful souls who embody Pure Vida! The property is close to many activities, and they provide great recommendations for tours and local eats. While I can't say enough good things about the property, it is the people who made this an very wonderful experience! Thank you for everything, we will be back.
