Typical norrläning greeting, very happy with the service. The pillows could be a bit more supportive and amybe a fridge to put your lunch in. Otherwise a very nice hotel. Gym was also very good for a hotel.

We had driven a long way and had to stop to get som sleep. We called ahead and when we arrived we were greeted by one of the most service minded person I’ve met. To understand the simplicity in a warm smile and to just make it easier for the guests is a rare quality.

I sleept very good, it was okey breakfast, it was close to the town so that was very great. But i missed a bathtub and the shower was a littel small, but overall everything els was realy great, we are going back.

Lovely and frienly réception with allways affable personnel, staff. Thé breakfast is quite rich Rooms are quite nice I Miss, perhaps a bidet😂😂😂 They help you for visiting thé town. Thé hôtel is quite well localized

Since i am a member of Scandics loyalty program, I usually chose a hotel from Scandic. Scandic Plaza Umeå, however stands out in a positive way. The location in the center of Umeå is nice. The rooms are bigger than usual for this price, and the beds are comfortable. If you get a room on the upper floors you will have an amazing view of Umeå. Allt he common areas i.e. Bar, Breakfast restaurant and other areas are nice with a relaxing atmosphere. A slight minus for the parking situation. On the homepage/app you can read that the hotel has 20 own parking places, but they come at a rather high cost. The price is almost the same at parking garage Parketten opposite of the hotel entrance. SEK 120-150/24 hours. The biggest plus is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly, helpful and service minded. Big plus! Without hesitation, I can recommend Scandic Plaza Umeå for i nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay here, large enough room and comfortable bed. Big breakfast that we really like with longer opening hours durin summer. On the top floor there is a sauna with fantastic view of Umeå.

The bathtub was not clean and had to be cleaned and refilled with hot water because there was grime floating in the bathtub.
The staff was very helpful, and worked very hard to find a place that would be open when many supermarkets were closed early during the mid summer eve.
They also worked very hard to find out the bus schedule for the airport when we had a problem with the bus schedule for the mid summer holiday.
The breakfast is excellent, delicious and varied.
There are many things to complain about, but all in all it was a good hotel.
I will use this hotel again the next time I go to Umea.
However, I would like you to install the air conditioner system by then. The heat in the room during the daytime is crazy.

Hotel loby was very nice ja bartender was awsome! Breakfast was good ja vertitate, but rooms need renovation. I didn’t slept at all because loud music from outside. The were two cars driving over the hotel ja the play music so loud that it sound like you are in bar, even the 12 floor! I mentioned reseptation about it and they know ja have tried to do something about it, even police have tried but its hasn’t any efect. So nice hotel, but difficult problem with some local people is reason to skip this hotel or atleast ask room from riverside.
