Bohusgården, Hotel and conference. The hotel in which we were looking forward to staying and ending our lovely Swedish summer holiday, but which in no way lived up to our expectations. In many ways a bland, tired and boring hotel. We had chosen the slightly more expensive solution, to check into the hotel's panoramic section, so that we could get a beautiful view of the archipelago. If you are looking for a working industrial port, the choice is absolutely right. Right must be right, however, a look the other way gave a view towards handsome Gustafsberg. I'm glad that we got a relatively nice view after all, because that was the only positive the hotel offered. The most shocking experience, however, was that every day at the breakfast buffet, we were presented with the very large selection of sweets and soft ice cream. Free sweets and soft ice cream. When we now know that the western world has major problems with obesity, that Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland also have some very frightening figures regarding overweight - then I wonder about the hotel's choice of sweets and ice cream as a supplement/substitute for breakfast. I ask, where is the hotel's social responsibility? Morten/Danmark Juli 2022
