The Bubble Inn Hotel

We came in for food for my boyfriend's sisters birthday. We went on a Sunday and had the Sunday roast and a burger. The food was sensational, the meat was cooked to perfection and the portions were very substantial. The vegetables came out separate which was excellent as it meant that we were able to pick and choose what we ate. The only slight issue was that when we asked for the bill it came incorrect, which is no issue as it was easily fixed but just make sure that you check when the bill arrives. We will definitely return especially for the sunday roasts.

We went to stay there for a Saturday night and had a lovely stay. When we arrived we were shown by a really friendly member of front of house team to our room. The room was not huge but was really clean and had a lovely comfy bed. There was bottled water and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a lovely free standing tub and a large walk in shower. We had dinner there too which was great and obviously cooked over a charcoal style grill. Lots of flavour, good prices and again, really friendly staff in the pub/restaurant. Would most definitely recommend for a mini break.

What a pleasant surprise this was. Well appointed pub, with real ale and Greek cuisine. We stayed on a Thursday night which is a greek buffet for £14.95. Really good value with dips and pitta bread with a glorious greek salad to start and a range of really tasty greek food, such a stufado, moussaka, meatballs, chicken, the most fantastic chips amongst other dishes. The rooms had a large comfy bed and an amazing bathroom,with walk in shower and a deep bat as well, complete with bath bomb. Right up our street with tea and coffee facilities and breakfast in the morning for £90. Not only that but the pub is in a converted (large) cow shed close to the Trent and Mersey canal, so you can go for a walk along the canal and see the lovely boats. Really handy to break our long journey to Suffolk and very friendly staff - thanks

We just stopped en route & we’re lucky enough to get a double room in the hotel. The room was on the ground floor but the only down side was the French doors opened out onto a courtyard & so I wasn’t happy to leave the doors open all night for fresh air in case of any mice etc would come in ! The shower head needed sorted as there was a spray of water from all angles & no window to open either… there was a distracting fan but it was really noisy. The tea & coffee facilities were a bonus & bottled water each was also a bonus Thankyou! Breakfast was served next morning along the corridor & a small dining room & we chose bacon sandwiches & poached egg on toast. There was a choice of cereals & jams & we had a lovely welcome from the waitress !

Went for lunch for one of our friend’s birthday. There were 12 of us, but that didn’t diminish the service and quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service and the ambience. I’ve already been singing the praises of the beautiful Greek food to family and friends, so we’ll definitely return in future. Thank you to all the staff concerned
