Cant understand why this property has such high reviews. Room was average and shower/bathroom poor with shower actually coming off wall! It wasn't cheap either.

Service was good, the room was pretty clean, the pool was nice and the location was great for visiting Joshua Tree. We appreciated the $1 sodas in the lobby and lots of available ice. Our stay was pleasant.

I enjoy the small motel intimacy. I had a covered parking space which is great in desert heat. The room is large and the bed comfortable. The shower didn't have hot water. The staff denied the problem.

Cool retro motel that’s clean, spacious and safe. Walking distance to great Twentninepalms food and the Joshua Tree Visitor Center.
One of the closer places to stay if you’re visiting the Joshua Tree National Park.

Hotel very close to joshua tree park, the people are very nice, the price is great.
But gosh I haven't slept in such a bad bed since ages. The bathroom is said with a bath but you can't shut the bathtub. It is said there is a kitchen, but there are 3 plates and 2 spoons, brief not very equiped. The swimming pool was big but freezing, maybe 60 degrees. A shame because it was one of the reason we choose that hotel.

Older motel but very clean and rooms remodeled. Everything worked and owners very hospitable. I will be back.

Lovely stay overnight here. Everything we needed. The pool looked inviting except that it was too cold outside. Very clean and nice staff.

Great service and perfect location for what we were going after. It's the room/building itself that needs a make-over. Best way to put it... the room was TIRED.
