Tulbagh Boutique Heritage Hotel

Our family group of eight were staying on a nature reserve outside the town of Tulbagh but had booked for the Christmas lunch at the hotel. What a fabulous experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service outstanding. What a great idea to serve small portions of all three starters on a plate, and the same for the three desserts. The air conditioning was an enormous plus in the sweltering heat. A classy hotel; we would have loved to spend a night or two. Thank you to all the staff who made our Christmas a special day.

The staff at this hotel are incredible. From the moment we walked into the hotel to the time we left they made us feel welcome and they really were pleased to see and be of service. Fantastic Food and the swimming pool and rooms were excellent. We will be back

We picked the Tulbagh Hotel because we were looking for a hotel + restaurant that could accommodate a gluten free vegetarian diet and we were not let down! There were multiple options on the seasonal hotel restaurant menu that we greatly enjoyed. At check in, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was phenomenal! It is so beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the plunge pool and the flowers in the garden, as well as the easy Church Street access and view from the room. The service was great - staff were friendly and welcoming. Reception helped us book a nearby zip line experience in Ceres (which we recommend!). We ate at the hotel restaurant, ordered room service, and, of course, drank wine - of which there were many (local) options on the menu. We also booked spa treatments at the hotel and had great experiences either Demi and Bianca. Both Tulbagh and the hotel are beautiful and we greatly recommend staying here!
