What a holiday we just had at this wonderful hotel. The staff where amazing could not do enough for you . Food was awesome. The outside facilities on the beach where outstanding and with the use off the facilities off its sister hotel across the road just made the holiday perfect.

Where do I start ! A wonderful, wonderful place, where memories can be made. I read all the reviews before coming & can only tell you that it's all true ! It's idyllic & I'm not sure if words can truly do it justice. The hotel is wonderful, it's position is amazing ,the food is stunning & the people are just ...special ! You've heard all the names before no doubt , Dino, Simmy, Awa, Daniel, Axel,Toku & all led by Shiva. I feel terrible that I'm unable to name all the staff, the chefs, reception, housekeeping, security & the gardener ! I think Mark Twain was right you know "Mauritius was made first,& then heaven; that heaven was copied from Mauritius" it really is an amazing place. I could go on & on , yes , I'm a fan ! If you're thinking of booking, do it, you won't be disappointed !

From the start to the finish of our holiday we were looked after by the best staff at a holiday hotel we have ever experienced. The hotel is small and quiet and from the moment you entered the hotel you felt you were entering a retreat. Food was outstanding and we are currently looking to go back to this hotel as soon as possible. The suites are spacious, luxurious and have amazing views. If you are looking for a quiet , relaxed, beach front holiday, this is definitely one of the best !!!!

We had a wonderful holiday at Le Cardinal, The staff are all amazing Danial Raoul max mimi to name a few. Apologies if I've forgotten anyone as everyone was amazing from the cleaner to the chefs and even the security guard and not forgetting the receptionists. All inclusive was wonderful more like A l u carte. Its akin to fine dining. The location is fabulous just 10 mins by taxi to Grand bae. It was very peaceful and relaxing the sunsets are to die for... ignore any negative reviews as I think those peoples expectations are extremely high.. If you want a little bit of Paradise on earth then go to Mauritius and choose the Le Cardinal with only 13 rooms is peaceful and you get that personal touch that lager hotels can not achieve. Merci Mon amis.

This small boutique hotel is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, idyllic break. The beach on your doorstep is stunning with plenty of comfortable sun loungers (no mad rush to get one in the morning which added to the relaxed atmosphere). The rooms are spacious and comfortable all with ocean views. However what really makes this hotel extra special is the amazing staff. You could not ask for a friendlier, caring or more attentive bunch, truly the best we have ever came across in any hotel. I could give countless examples of the fantastic service we received but I’ll finish by giving a special thank you to Rawa, Ashween and Daniel (along with our fellow guests) for making our last night such great fun We are truly grateful for the memories.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Le Cardinal Exclusive Resort. As a very small hotel you get to know the staff really well. They are all amazing. Ordering your lunch & evening meal in a morning is such a good idea and the food is then brought to your table for you. Our room was so cleaned daily to a high standard with clean beach towels provided daily It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were away and the hotel provided a fabulous meal for us and Daniel decorated our table which was amazing. Simi makes the best coffees! Thank you Taukoor, Daniel, Simi, Axel, Rawah & Dinoo for making our holiday so special. Also Mihir who was working in the hotel gaining hotel experience whilst we were there. Already looking to return again hopefully next year.

Le Cardinal is a small hotel with only 13 rooms. Our room was spacious and the balcony had a lovely sea view. The staff were so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing. The pool and beach area was nice. I had the pool to myself most of the time as most people seemed to prefer the beach area. Plenty of sun beds. The sunsets were amazing. Didn’t use the facilities of the sister hotel but had a look around and used the spa and had a massage which was nice.

Coming to the end of an incredible week staying at La Cardinal, a hotel which has totally surpassed my expectations. The five star reviews do not do the place justice! It has a perfect location on the beach front, with very easy access to the sea, whilst the small number of rooms means it remains quiet and peaceful. The food is some of the best I have ever tasted at a hotel, each night we have tried something different and it has all been superb, particularly the fish and seafood dishes. Shiva, the team and the chefs are what really make the place special. For those who want entertainment after dinner, the Causarina over the road has it (it is part of the same chain, with the same great staff) but we were happy to stay listening to the sound of waves lapping against the shore.

We have had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Cardinal. The hotel has an enviable beachfront location with superb views. The whole team led by Shiva made our stay memorable in so many ways. Every member of the team took the time to understand us and ensured an excellent service tailored to our needs. Shout out to Dino with his insights, Axel for his comedy, Simi for her care, Rowa for his expertise, all led by Toccu who was highly professional. Highlights include an amazing romantic evening meal on the beach, delicious food delivered professionally and thoughtfully and cocktails watching the sunset. The cleanliness was good. We had a package of massages in the spa which were wonderful, shanty was great at organising our bookings and Yogita and her colleagues were great at the massages. We have had a truly great time and would definitely return....
