We had a fantastic stay.
Good service. Nice modern and clean.
Easy parking. Excellent breakfast.
Good beds (slightly on the hard side)
The real BONUS with this place is the roof terrace with stunning views overlooking the roof tops of surrounding buildings in the village.

Located deep amid the narrow streets of the Trarbach part of town on the right bank of the Mosel, the Goldene Traube is handy for some traditional local eateries (and drinkeries) but seems a far cry from the bright and open spaces of the river bank. A room on the second floor had little natural light with the close proximity of adjacent buildings in the old town and the rooftop terrace (labelled “rooftop bar” but with no bar available...) is only a partial relief from a building that is generally too dark. The bedroom was also poorly lit and furnished, narrow and without chairs – but with an excellent bathroom and comfortable beds. There's a free outdoor parking space just a moment's walk away, very handy in these narrow streets.

A most fantastic hotel with amazing staff who couldn’t have been more helpful.Daniel speaks English very well.Convenient location, comfortable spotless room,comfy bed,great shower.Rooftop terrace with far reaching views.Honesty bar on first floor.Wonderful Buffet breakfast.

The owner and the staff were wonderful.
They were so helpful in every way. The room was very clean,neat and comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying. The location was ideal to just walk out the door to tour the old city. I would definitely stay here again.

The city was very nice and cool, but in the room there was lots of bugs, no receptionist for 2 nights of stay so we can talk to, only by phone. usually the room should be cleaned every night of stay which was not the case. sorry for this

This hotel is truly a special find! It combines the quality experience of a family run German small hotel with hip ambiance and stylish comfort. Check in was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large, super clean, and feel brand new. There is a fabulous roof garden with nice views over the little town. The complementary breakfast is lovely and made me want to move back to Germany :)

Ein schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel in Trabach. Die Zimmer sind modern und funktional eingerichtet. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten in Traben auf der anderen Mosel Seite. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurant und Sehenswertes aber auch was man sich sparen kann ausgestattet. Also kurz. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für Bed & Breakfast. Frühstück ist ausreichend und Vielfältig, frisch und lecker.
