Hotel des Chateaux de la Loire

Great 2 star hotel. Very comfortable, friendly, quiet and well-located. Bed very comfortable with good pillows. New bathroom and lovely fluffy towels. Perfectly good breakfast in airy dining room. Great location convenient for everything in the heart of Tours, and the station. I stayed 2 nights before moving to more rural location to enjoy the Loire valley.

Always stay here at least twice a year on our way to the south. Lovely, comfortable hotel.

Such a great find, quite by chance, when we arrived in Tours on our way south. The hotel, in Rue Gambetta, is perfectly located for strolling around either the old town (St Martin) and the centre of Tours, with its shops and restaurants etc. We got a nice big room at a very good price, and the receptionist was really helpful, gave us a little street map (we don't know Tours) and we had a great meal in a restaurant in the old city. The bed was huge, the bathroom had a bath; both the room and bathroom were beautifully clean and seemed to have been fairly newly decorated. There were extra pillows in the cupboard (as someone who likes having two pillows, I love that), and extra towels too. The room even had a kettle and a little fridge (which was lucky because we had some milk in the car because we knew all the shops would be shut). We'll definitely be staying there again. There's plenty to see in Tours, beautiful buildings, a fantastic old theatre that has regular concerts etc., also the Musee des Beaux Arts... Loved it.

Bel hôtel bien placé dans le bel hyper-centre de Tours. Chambre assez calme, accueil professionnel et sympathique, petit-déjeuner apprécié.

Bon hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Tours et avec une équipe sympa. Il manque juste la climatisation.

Piccolo hotel gestito da uno staff molto cordiale e gentile, fin dall'accoglienza. La nostra tripla era spaziosa, con un letto matrimoniale più un letto singolo, un bel bagno con finestra, bollitore sulla scrivania e ventilatore efficiente per ovviare alla mancanza di aria condizionata. Ottima la pulizia e piacevole il decoro della stanza. Molto apprezzata la convenzione con un garage a pochi metri, con possibilità di pagare il parcheggio direttamente in hotel. La posizione è perfetta per visitare a piedi il centro storico di Tours, in 10 minuti si arriva alla Cattedrale e si impiega lo stesso tempo per place Plumereau, per esempio. Anche il prezzo, prenotando direttamente sul loro sito è stato piuttosto conveniente.

C’est LA place à Tours, et ce, pour toutes les raisons. Emplacement près de la rue Nationale, bord de la Loire, et silencieux car rue tranquille. Et pour réception, propreté, équipement (café dans la chambre), ascenseur,

Très bonne adresse pour séjourner en plein cœur de la ville, avec tarifcpréférentiel pour un parking à deux pas de l'hôtel. Les chambres sont agréables, tranquilles; le personnel de réception charmant. Une adresse à tester sans hésitation.
