Inglewood Palm Hotel, Abbey Sands Torquay

Don't stay here ! Dirty , dirty and more dirt ! No hit water , cigarettes bats everywhere! Everything broken ! Avoid !

I am a local and this is totally embarrassing! Don’t stay this hotel should be condemned. It was once a lovely hotel but sadly not had any attraction for years! Check out u tube I was almost sick ! The owner simply doesn’t care it’s an insult ! This need to be closed down

Stayed here for a night, 2 rooms. Firstly you can’t check in until 4.30 unless you pay a £15.00 early check in fee. Free parking but make sure you put your registration on the computer at reception else you will get a ticket. Rooms are old, dated and grubby. Beds were clean and comfy but everything else needs work. Wallpaper hanging off, damp patches and random furniture. Hotel staff and owner are really friendly. Would I stay again, definitely for location reasons only.

This is certainly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. no one at reception, notice on front door to call a phone number. but a man shouted from a window asking if we had reservations. We told him yes and he came to let us in and give us a card key,SAYING I NOT MANAGER . He escorted us through a maze to room 18, the bed was not from this era with springs that sagged. It's one saving grace was the bed clothes were clean. No bar, no entertainment, no restaurant, no pool, We arrived on the Sunday and due to stay till Friday, left on Tuesday morning. This is a hotel run by a company called OYO and reading other comments from previous years this is still in a period of upgrade. How any booking site can list this as three star (including Tripadvisor) shows that they do not actually visit these hotels. We booked this through Buyagift as the advertised 5 days in Devon and all 3 hotels offered were from the same provider OYO we saw one there other s The Sherwood and it also looked in the same dilapidated state God help anyone who has the misfortune to stay here apparently you have to give at least 1 star for the review to go through,I still think it should be a minus

Absolutely filthy owner didn’t care one woman running everything never at desk bedroom floor was not suitable to put a dog on let alone humans had to put towels on floor to walk on Wi-Fi only near reception no disability facilities lights hanging off walls as they said there was bar in there doesn’t open told to go across the road windows smashed and boarded up no outside lights for safety not a lot of parking and what they did have was very difficult to get into why this place is open taking people in I don’t know owner was told but said he wasn’t interested council should be informed immediately looks nothing like advertisement
