Crofton House Hotel

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE, not only did they claim 100% of my company’s money, they gave no leeway for a hospital admission due to intense injury and a shocked mental health state; since the director of the company was attacked and a police report filed as he requested a postponed visit. A sick note was not enough evidence to accommodate a future stay and further EVIDENCE was required by the hotel manager. Thus the company promised a reward for their hospitality in return. SAMMY was a delightful and helpful member of staff to communicate with during the negation process, however management and hotel policy of cancellation was incredibly strict!

Lovely accommodation good cheap price. Near to seafront walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful stayed in room 7. Seen after we booked it was adults only however was not worried as we are two sisters in 50s 60s. Went out for evening went back to room at 9.30pm to rest up as early start following morning. Was woke up at 11.45 to an amorous couple in room 6 next door getting intimate. Banging of headboard and loud moans from lady kept us awake for nearly 2 hours. Tried to sleep however headboard from room 6 must have been on the wall of room 7. Seemed to go on for ages. So struggled to get a good nights sleep. However must I add this was nothing to do with the hotel as no moans at all for the price we paid. We were up early in morning and Jeff about 8.15am. Was a strange experience but overall enjoyable.

Amazing hotel and spa Amazing hotel, the reception manager was very welcoming. I visited in January (very quiet month in torquay) but he nevertheless offered to turn on the sauna and the whole spa just for me! I would highly recommend, rooms are spacious and clean, free parking onsite was ideal. I have visited torquay many times but I will always come back here!

I walked in walked and walked back out absolutely vile. The car park had undesirable youths on bikes drug dealing. You can keep my £38 you clearly need it more. As someone who works in hospitality some advice get your entrance sorted first impressions are everything.

Cancelled by mistake on a comparison website, rang no more than 10 minutes later and they would not reinstate the booking or refund any of the booking cost. Basically just stole my money. There were still rooms available too so it’s not like they were fully booked.

Thought it was lovely for what we paid …. Everything clean / tidy, checked in early as soon as we turned up! All facilities working and were great, staying for 2 nights at under 100£ …. Very pleased over all and would recommend and stay again xxx
