The Norwood

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Very clean room and bathroom. Clean cosy beds. Kettle, cups, tea, coffee and milk provided in room. Small fridge. We stayed for two night’s and all slept well. The hosts are lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, our hosts Denish and Sabina were attentive and obviously passionate about what they do. Breakfast was fabulous, freshly cooked. Rooms were comfortable with everything required for a comfortable stay. Denish and Sabina went out of their way to make us comfortable after a harrowing experience with a pre booked accommodation becoming unavailable, which we didn't know until we tried to check in

Last minute booking and we werent disappointed. Booked a double ensuite room for 2 nights on room only basis with option to purchase breakfast whilst there. We received a lovely friendly welcome on arrival . The room was absolutely spotless ,bed very comfortable ,lovely soft towels and a welcome tray with tea,coffee and home made shortbread biscuits.Room was up a few flights of stairs so someone less mobile may be advised to request low floor room.Although on a main road we slept extremely well .Small gripe is not 100% soundproofed and we could hear the tv late in the room next door but the guests turned it down at our request as obviously not aware how loud it was. Didnt have breakfast as we usually prefer a brunch but there were 2 sittings and reviews are excellent. Parked the car up for the 2 nights -short walk to harbour but for anyone less mobile this is on main bus route and buses are frequent.Plenty of places nearby for food if guests want to stay local eg chip shop,Indian takeaway ,pub etc. Would we stay there again ? Yes.

Excellent location , just a short walk from the seafront. Sabina and Dinesh were so welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were lovely and clean , everything you needed was there. Breakfast was absolutely superb , Dinesh is a super chef . As new owners of The Norwood , all we would say is keep doing what your doing . Thank you.

Have all just returned from a 2 night stay at The Norwood Guest House. Comfortable room with a good shower & lots of hot water. Sabina and Dinesh were very welcoming hosts and the piece de resistance were their breakfasts, cooked by Dinesh & served by Sabina, always with a smile. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would thoroughly recommend this Guest House!

Sabina and Dinesh are a lovely welcoming couple. We stayed for a few days in a spacious clean room, lovely breakfast (my son loved the yummy pancakes 😊) Definitely will be returning soon. Highly recommended for a lovely relaxing break away. See you soon guys.
