Best Western Plus Park City Lund

A very good choice when staying in Lund. Very clean and fresh room, great breakfast and very good service

Stayed 6 nights. Great staff - fast and friendly check in. Coffee and water available in lobby. Excellent restaurant in hotel. Buffet breakfast are wonderful and cover range of different appetites. Some days skipped lunch I was still ful. Uber service is new in Sweden, but worked well, with $8-12 rides around Lund. Highly recommend!

Before you even arrived you get bombarded with mails that you have a message, but nothing there. Trying to call the hotel to tell you will arrive late, no answer or you are being disconnected. Upon arrival you are told there is only one legal Parking in the area which is very highly priced. Following that you are asked to specify when you want to have breakfast....Breakfast is badly organized anyway and the typical industrialized anonomous assortment, lots of choices but quantity before quality. Furniture a bit thorn, location industrial area, what a boring hotel. Oh but yes bathroom was very clean.

This is a modern and no-frills business hotel, close to many companies in Lund. I come here often for work. Rooms are modern, fairly new and comfortable. It’s a 20-30 min walk from the city center and restaurants, so either you have a car, you like to walk, or eat at the hotel. But most of this has been covered in other reviews. I will focus my review on my single biggest grudge with this hotel: the iron. I know, this is not something people usually focus on, but I like to go to my meetings properly dressed, and I always iron my clothes, as a few hours packed in a suitcase makes them wrinkled. Most hotels would have a decent steam iron, either in the room, or available to loan. This one only has the cheapest possible iron, probably to tick a box somewhere. And it does not have any steam at all. The first few times I stayed here I got very frustrated as there is no way to get clothes properly ironed with the iron they provide. I asked for options at the reception, wrote complaints etc. Nothing changed. Still that crappy iron being the only option. Until I got a tip from a fellow colleague that changed my life. If the iron has no steam, I need to steam my blouses, skirts etc prior to iron them. Brilliant, how did I not think of that earlier? So here is my tip. Prior to ironing my clothes I steam them in the bathroom. To do this I hang my items on the inside of the shower, using the hangers from the room. Then I set the water at the hottest temperature (making sure I click the unlock button to get past the 38oC temperature), I turn on the shower (making sure to again click on the unlock button to get maximum pressure). Close the bathroom door (otherwise the steam will trigger the fire alarm in the room). Then just wait. I found that you need at least 20-30 minutes of steaming to be able to properly iron my clothes. I take this time to catch up with my emails etc. After this wait time, ironing – even with that crappy iron in the room – is a breeze. You’re welcome.

Pleasant check-in experience! The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the hotel's location within walking distance of Lund's center was convenient. However, there were some notable downsides to our stay. The absence of charging facilities for electric cars was an inconvenience, and the area around the hotel was marred by litter and rodent presence. Despite our payment, we still received a ticket – Please note that the parking is not managed by the hotel. Our experience at the hotel's restaurant was disappointing. The seafood pasta dish contained only a few frozen shrimps and an excessive amount of cream and butter sauce. We will not be dining there again in the future.

Parking can be paid at the hotel, but received two tickets anyway - solved by the hotel after we had left. Caused frustration and time to spend calling the parking company, talking with the reception etc. The sheets in one of our rooms did not seem to have been changed after last guest, as there were hair found between the sheets. Reception contacted and they made sure to get the sheets changed.

We came to check-in around 6pm after a long drive and the room was nice but unfortunately housekeeping missed some details: toilet paper was half full/half empty, the sanitary bags were totally out and hair conditioner was also totally empty. Breakfast was ok so all in all, ok stay for 1 night.

A very pleasant stay would stay there again. Staff very helpful
