Home 6 Motel

I book this motel April 26, 2022. Travelled July 27, 2022. Front clerk tried to convince me I booked a regular room, when I proved I reserved a handicap room, he said "oh, that room flooded, and they tried calling me the day of travel to let me know. I checked my phone logs, and that's the second lie they told me, no record of call. The clerked said they have 5 handicap rooms, and they were reserved 3 days earlier.

The first room we were put in didn't have a comforter on the bed, the room was boiling and the A/C didn't work. We were moved to a room with those things fixed to a room where the desk was falling apart, the door to the bathroom had never been scrubbed, there are holes in the walls and doors The pool was closed, which is fine since we arrived so late, but would have been nice since it is so hot outside.

Sorry, I don't think I have ever given such a rating. Receptionist/clerk asked if I wanted to see the room first, I said, it is handicap, correct? She said yes. I said fine. Leaving the office, only grass I see for our fur baby was by the dumpster that had a homeless couple going thru it. I was exhausted from driving all day but had to wait for the couple to leave so we could get our business done to go in the room. The window wouldn't close, curtain flying around. Floor was too grungy to go barefoot. Toilet was broken. Shower handles was grimy underneath where it's never cleaned.
