Sky 2 Hotel Tirana

Room is nice, location is good,BUT: the room is 27 degrees C! The view from the rooms are not good either, although that’s not a big deal. We are advised they don’t turn on the air conditioning until May, no flexibility apparently. Too hot to sleep!

I was recommended this hotel by a friend due to location. It was our first trip to Albania and we are a family of 5. I booked 2 rooms which were both in same floor. The location was good however it doesn’t have main road exposure so you need to in side streets. The room was simple, not very bright and not the best window view. It was ok for 1 night but wouldn’t stay any longer. Staff were very easy to deal with and checkin was smooth. There was a supermarket near by and Byrektore which were delicious. Breakfast in Albania is very basic. Not sure if I would come back.

This hotel and the wonderful man sent to pick us up at the airport gave us our first impressions of Albania; we were delighted. The gentleman who picked us up was friendly, charming, and helpful. He told us where to get traditional Albanian food the first night, along with other recommendations. The hotel staff were accommodating too and gave us directions to a nearby Vodofone to get new sims. The hotel is located in prime spot within a short walk from a grocery store, restaurants, and major sites. The air conditioning worked beautifully. There were many options in the breakfast spread! Thank you to all the staff!

Cute hotel and very modern. It’s in the heart of Tirana and very close to the local restaurants and shops. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Tirana and wants to travel on budget. Food is also good and friendly staff. Free wifi too

Premetto che ho scelto questo albergo in base alla posizione, parcheggio gratuito, colazione compresa, foto della camera e recensioni. Arriviamo e non c è nemmeno un posto per scaricare i bagagli. La strada è a senso unico e in attesa del check in ho dovuto fare 5 giri dell isolato. All arrivo mi dicono che il parcheggio non è più compreso e che avrei dovuto pagarlo. Mi agito un po, riprendo la prenotazione e gliela faccio leggere. Mi dicono che le condizioni sono cambiate ma che comunque pagheranno loro il parcheggio. Come se mi stessero facendo un favore. Insomma, un check in di 1 ora. Arriviamo in camera e vediamo sul balcone buste e carte. Sembrava che non avessero pulito i balconi da più di una settimana.Stessa condizione nella seconda camera che avevamo prenotato. La colazione giusta. Un po di salato e un po di dolce ma non vi aspettate nulla di particolare.

Camere grandi ben pulite anche il bagno in pulito ma poco ereggiato, unica pecca la colazione , poca scelta e di bassa bassa qualità. Tassista molto disponibile e gentile , interessante anche il prezzo da aereo porto ad albergo Euro 15 . Vivamente consigliato.
