Aura Villas Tinos

We had an absolutely amazing time at Aura Villas Tinos. The apartment was spacious and spotless. Beautiful and peaceful location. From the private pool area we had sea and a unique sunset view. Beach is 5mins by walk and the town 12mins by car. Dimitris is such an amazing host, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Till next time!

We just completed a wonderful week at Aura Villas and can't recommend it enough! We experienced the Honeymoon Suite and Signature Suite, both were absolutely fantastic. No road noise, big buildings or other distractions around. The new suites feature fully equipped kitchens with pots, pans, cutlery and crockery and cleaning materials (sponge, soap, towels etc). The private plunge pool was deep and refreshing, perfect with bean bag loungers and a small table. We enjoyed several dinners by the pool as it was so peaceful and private. Barely any mosquitos around, the door nets were very practical too. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms come with many amenities, bathrobes, slippers and high quality towels for both bath and pool. Pool cleaning and water quality checks were done daily (not what we experienced in private Villas elsewhere). Very clean throughout. A highlight of our stay was Mr Dimitris, who was always available on whatsapp and in person for any questions and advice. He was so kind to bring us groceries on the first night and drop us to a neighboring beach and the port. He was also very helpful in arranging taxis at the best rate and kept our suitcase while we traveled the island inbetween stays. His hospitality and caring attitude really made the difference, we always felt very well taken care of. The details like a fridge stocked with coca cola, local beer, water etc as well as the lovely farewell gift were such nice and personal touches, making the experience complete. We loved the beach in 5min walking distance with crystal clear water and mainly sand, a few coral/rocky areas in the water that attract colorful fish. It never felt crowded at the beach even in July/August. The beach restaurant/bar (only one in this area) was of good quality. You will find authentic Greek food in Kionia and Tinos (Chora), easily accessible by car or taxi within 8-15min. Tinos island is a real gem with mainly Greek visitors. A car is the best way to explore the beautiful towns of Tinos, but we also managed fine with the bus that goes 4 times a day from Chora/Tinos. Brand new rather spacious two-floor apartments. The caretaker always ready to help and satisfy. Not far from Chora but a car is needed. The view is nice but far from really perfect. The pool and the pool area are constantly covered by red soil from nearby rocks because of the wind (and unfortunately Tinos is pretty windy). There is a dirt road leading to the villas which is partially narrow and serves the nearby popular beach as well. This beach and the restaurant there are really nice, however, walking down there and back up is rather short but not agreeable because very very steep. Our thanks to the caretaker (Dimitris I think), he did everything he could to make our stay better.
