The ranch is located just minutes away from the park entrance!The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and a 60ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.The Cabin:The cabin features a cozy and inviting interior, with plenty of natural light and rustic charm. A fifth sleeping arrangement is available via a fold-down futon, best for a child or small adult (dimensions: 66.1" length x 39.4" width).New for Summer of 2025, upgraded appliances including a stove, dishwasher, and microwave have been added to the kitchen. A new couch has been added to the living room and the bedding and towels are new as well.After a day of hiking amongst the redwoods, unwind in the comfortable living area, or enjoy a quiet evening out and relax on the new patio furniture. Enjoy the view of the mountains over a glass of wine by the firepit and keep your eyes peeled for any of the surrounding wildlife.Guest Access:You will have access to this private cabin and the 380 acres of private land shared only between our 5 cabins.As a guest of the ranch, we will provide you with directions to the cabin ahead of your stay. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. NOTE: We do not have an oven/stove. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. The home sits on an elevated lot, allowing you to clearly view the breathtaking mountain scenery all around. The master suite comprises the entire upstairs which features a king bed with a gel cooling mattress,walk-in closet, Smart tv, and cozy sitting area. *Both bedrooms are fitted with comfy bedding, decorative pillows, nightstands, and large windows with blackout shades. The master bath has a free-standing soaking tub that sits adjacent to a large window, as well as a two-sink vanity and walk-in shower. Little Bear Cottage is perfect for outdoor activities. Enjoy a family barbecue on the large deck with our propane barbecue and shaded picnic table, watch the sun rise or set from the porch rocking chairs with a hot cup of coffee, or count the stars at night during a long soak in the outdoor hot tub.
