Shoreline Grand

The bali ladies were helpful and had good customer service but felt sorry for them as its not how is made out to be on the pictures its like 15mins walk to beach people staying must be annoyed We booked this place as all-inclusive, expecting a relaxing holiday with food and drinks available on-site. However, when we arrived, we were shocked to find that no drinks of any kind (including alcohol) were allowed on the island. The guest house itself was very basic — just a small courtyard with four rooms lined up, each with a table and chairs outside where all meals were served. There was no menu or buffet. Instead, we were told to ask what we wanted, and they would try to make it. Everything had to be requested a day in advance, including basic items. There were no desserts, no drink options, and very limited variety overall. Meals felt like something a teenager might cook at home — not the standard you’d expect when paying for an all-inclusive experience. On top of that, the staff were unhelpful. When we expressed our disappointment on the first day, we were told we could leave — but since it’s an island, the next ferry wasn’t until the following day. We were later told we’d get a discount since the stay wasn’t as advertised, but on the last night (around 11 p.m.), they demanded full payment and threatened to make us leave, even though we had a sick child and no way off the island until morning. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. It’s nothing like what was advertised and certainly not what you’d expect from an “all-inclusive” stay.

We stayed at Shoreline Grand Thoddoo in April 2023, after comimg from a tipical "touristic leaflet" resort also in Maldives. Realities are obviously different, but nevertheless we felt extremelly well there. The instalations are fair - a nice room, with a good bed, fridge, AC and a ceiling fan ('though the room is pleasantly fresh given the maldivian environment). This gest house is geografically very well situated - in a very calm part of the village, but a couple of minutes walk from the center, and at mid distance between the two tourist beaches. And they will arrange you bikes to move around, all for free! Now the best: the staff and the food. We organized everything (stay and transfers from and to Male) with them (in this case, Zulaikha Ibrahim) and everything run as arranged, and on time. Plus, I must highlight all the support in organizing activities and meals (oh, the meals,.. simply perfect!) - again all on time and running as agreed. Then all the sympathy any minute of the day and the marvelous maldivian breakfasts arranged by Ayu. Bottom line - not a five star resort but if you are looking for a pleasant place to stay at a local island, nice staff, with a great value for money, this is definetivelly an option to consider.

Shoreline Grand is a really great place to stay. It’s very comfortable, the room is modern designed and a very spacious bathroom with some open air space, there is always fresh air in. It’s always very clean and a brilliant lady cleans it every day. It was so cozy that I slept a lot and didn't want to go to the beach. The advantage is it’s a quiet place to relax. Zulaikha and her brother are very kind and hospitable and they can also prepare very delicious dinner. Wi-fi works very well. We really enjoyed staying here! Thank you very much!

Я турагент и оцениваю данный гест хаус профессиональным взглядом. Отдыхала здесь с мамой и мы обе были в восторге от атмосферы, сервиса и внимания персонала. Создается впечатление домашнего отдыха, как будто на даче, только Мальдивской) Девушки нам готовили завтрак, обед и ужин учитывая любые пожелания и предпочтения в еде, каждый день были фреши и фрукты. Еда свежая, вкусно приготовленная. Питьевая вода пополняется каждый день. Чай, кофе по желанию, единственное. что отмечу - кофе растворимый( Очень удивило, что услуги прачечной входили в стоимость жилья, несколько раз отдавали стирать вещи. Бесплатные велики и маски для скнорленга в распоряжении туристов) От геста до обоих пляжей не более 5 минут на велике или 12-15 минут ножками через чудесную пальмовую рощу. Совершенно точно могу советовать этот замечательный мини - отель на локальном острове и скажу, что этот вариант не омрачит впечатление о Мальдивах, если Ваш выбор на падет на остров ресорт. Для "бюджетных Мальдив" - супер вариант Про остров скажу кратко - очень понравилась природа, весь в зелени, пляж и океан прекрасен, инфраструктуры почти нет, пару магазинов и кафешек, несколько сувенирных лавок, вечером делать нечего от слова совсем, что нас не расстраивало. Есть домашние рифы

Отдыхали тут в октябре 2022 года, всë очень понравилось. И отель и персонал просто супер!!! Очень рекомендую. Океан просто нет слов, очень живописные места и изобилие фруктов. Отличный релакс отдых. Обязательно вернулся ещё семьëй.

Мы отдыхали в Shoreline Grand в июле месяце,при выборе ориентировались на отзывы,бесплатные велосипеды,снаряжения для плавания и не прогадали! Отличный хозяин,очень внимательный,обслуживающий персонал,всегда чисто ,убрано,чистые полотенца каждый день.За еду хочется сказать большое спасибо,кормили вкусно и главное можно было договориться какую еду вы предпочитаете.Советуем всем этот гостевой дом если хотите отличный сервис,хорошую еду и внимательное отношение к себе!👍❤️
