Rockholm at the Light House Beach

Rockholm in Monsoon season is special. The rains and the sun were in abundance and there was a positive energy in the spot this hotel is located. I could write and read in my very comfortable AC room. The balcony was very nice too with a great view overlooking the property and the rough yet soothing waves. What makes Rockholm special are the people. I never give a perfect score but I had to this time because the people are exceptional. The hotel is well managed, and the staff are kind and responsive. The massages were spot on after a day of work for me and the food was healthy and delicious - I did eat out a fair bit (and got sick) but the Rockholm food was best. I loved the chefs there. Some of the stand out staff for who deserve huge kudos are, Viji, Helency, Raithee (sp, in restaurant), Lenin and the housekeeper Vineetha. Thank you to the whole staff, especially Dr Sri kalakki and her team, for everything. Its no wonder the place works so well bec thlhe GM Mr Nair seems so kind and caring, and he went the extra mile to help me out. Blessings to you all. I will be back again!

3 weeks has just been completed at Rockholm where I’ve done my first ever Ayurveda retreat and I couldn’t been happier! From the moment I came and was greeted by Viji I felt welcomed and home. The room was flawless and taken care of every day of by Vinitha and her cleaning crew. The food from the kitchen was soo good, cooked and prepared with love and care by Lenin and Sumesh. And served by the nicest waiters in the world, Ratheesh, Akhil, Sangavi and Sumesh. The daily check in’s with the experienced doctors, Sreekala, Gokul and Akhila felt safe and informative, and the treatment itself by Shiva and Vishnu is something I will always remember. The daily yoga and meditation by Abhijith was fantastic! Just imagine to start your day at a yoga deck with a picture - perfect ocean view with a gentle morning breeze and the first rays of the sun shining through the palm leaves. Just breathtaking. And to all of the others as well, Rethish, Akhil, Mohandas, Suseel, Krishnakumar and all of those working under your management: from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Went with a group of friends for an agurvedic retreat, and there’s no better place i would choose. The food is great, the staff are friendly, everything was above expectations.
