Alexandra Elegance Bridging Generations

My spent a week at Alexandra Elegance and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The resort was very clean, had 35 rooms, so not busy and it's own beach. We had a junior suite with a private pool. We used this in the afternoon after spending the morning at the beach. There is a private beach for Elegance residents and because it is a small resort, we were able to get sun loungers. The food was excellent , with vegan options available. Food options were different everyday and you have the option to visit the Oasis and Taverna Restaurants as part of the inclusive offer. A special mention to the team that looked after us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist (Eredeti), who showed us around, greeted us each morning and helped with a visit to the doctors. At breakfast and dinner we were looked after by Kiki along with George and at lunch time Dimitri and Stella. The staff contributed massively to our enjoyable stay.

We visited as a family of 3 last week of August and into September for a total of 10 nights and loved every minute of it! The hotel has 3 seperate pools, plenty of sun loungers and 4 poolside cabanas and due to a lot of the rooms having their own private pools, the loungers were always plentiful and available at all times of the day. The seperate beach area also has plenty of loungers as well as some shaded areas with bean bags at the back and for the first week, there was only us and a few others there which made it ideal to relax and enjoy the sun. As others have said, it's a stoney beach so beach shoes are advised although there is a floating jetty which you can get to by walking on the pebbles briefly but once on it, you can get to the sea easily via that. For an all-inclusive, there wasn't your usual vast choice like most offer and it was definitely a case of quality over quantity as the food was excellent. As part of the all-inclusive, we also got the choice to eat in the Oasis restaurant next door on one side and the Greek Taverna in the neighbouring Alexandra Beach hotel, both of which were really good quality and nice places to eat. The all-inclusive drinks were great too with plenty of choice. My only (minor) issue was that on the last day, I was told that a member of staff would come to our room before our transfer time to collect us and our luggage in a golf buggy to take us round to the Alexandra Beach to meet our transfer coach but that didn't happen and we had to rush there with our cases to ensure we made it. But for the holiday and experience that we had, this was my only complaint and overall, it was one of those holidays where none of us wanted to leave, it really was that good! What really makes the hotel though is the staff as they are so helpful and engaging, all whilst being friendly and polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. Special mentions to Kiki, Sofia, Thanos and Alex but everyone is a credit to the hotel and thank you all for making the holiday special fo us!!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. We would return without any hesitation- everything about it is first class. We loved: 1. The location- right next to Potos and easy driving distance to the best sights 2. The pool- lovely temperature with two smaller pools ideal for our son to play in, plus the slide was a bonus for him. 3. The chilled out nature- no mad rush for sunbeds! 4. The food- the quality was fabulous. Not a huge choice but what you got was delicious and fresh. Also we loved that on a few nights you had a choice from the a la carte menu and a separate menu was available for kids 5. The drinks- all very high quality- wine and cocktails were better than any all inclusive we have visited in the past; 6. The choice of have three dining out options which were included and also the 30 minute massage at the spa; 7. The staff- honestly the nicest and attentive we have met; 8. The rooms- stunning views! We will return- thank you so much for the best holiday!

Second time staying at Alexandra Elegance, I was gobsmacked last time. This year? Everything twice as good. You see all the money you spent. Staff absolutely amazing and do everything for you and what you ask for, they are super friendly and not cold as in other hotels with this many stars. Definitely recommend to pay more for room with private pool. Waiters absolutely amazing. I hope it wasn’t my last visit.

An exceptional hotel (for Greece), well kept, nice staff. The sea is beautiful, the beach is rocky you need slippers. All inclusive is ok, but I would rather they offer a breakfast only option, as one can eat in local tavernas. Nobody goes to Thassos for fine dining. One thing that kind of ruins it, but it’s not their fault - the area is invaded by bees (wasps). Almost impossible to sit and eat outside.

This was our third all inclusive stay in Greece, and this was by far the best experience we’ve had. We travelled with a 14yr old who was kept plenty entertained by the private pool. Really well located for a stroll into Potos town. Right on the beach with a fantastic main pool. No reserving sunbeds; plenty available at any time of the day. Lots of options for sitting both in the sun, and the shade. The view from the sunbeds was great, right across to Mt Athos. Sunset views were incredible. The food was great, lots of variety and perfectly acceptable for a fussy teenager too. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so attentive and friendly; nothing at all was too much trouble. A very exclusive feel, quiet and calm. The perfect getaway!
