Premier Inn Gloucester (Barnwood)

What a lovely stay at a bargain rate. Rooms spacious, well ventilated, quiet and beds comfortable. Set up well for a family of 5. Incredibly good receptionist (Rosi) who was extremely helpful and accommodating of our needs and breakfast was outstanding and well cooked by chef (Adam) and well managed. All cleaning and waiting staff (Max and Shaye names I received) super friendly and happy. I don’t know who manages the hotel but we are very impressed with how things are run. I usually leave a hotel feeling tired and slightly disappointed but I left feeling rested and well fed. Bravo!

Stayed here for Cheltenham Festival two years in a row now and the standard of the hotel for a Premier Inn is great. Rooms clean and friendly, polite staff. Further than you would think from Cheltenham Town Centre, but no detriment to the hotel, who are helpful in assisting with taxis.

I have family events now and then in Gloucester will use this as my regular hotel to stay in now. The service was good the price was the best very reasonable and I had a very good sleep as the bed was to my liking

We booked for 2 nights, a family room. The staff on reception were so nice. Really helpful and friendly. Our 11yo is Autistic and has Tourette's Syndrome, so can be noisy when his tics are bad. The staff were so kind and understanding with him. The room was bigger that usual and I was please to discover that we only had nighbours one side as we were the end of the corridor. The lovely lady on reception even gave hum some bubbles to keep him occupied while in reception. My thanks to all the staff for making our stay so relaxed.

When we arrived at the hotel - we were unsure if we need breakfast due to start times of the event we were going to - as such the receptionist offered us a booking of the table however - did not take any money and was happy to arrange for payment later when we found out if we could go or not - we did go and were treated to a very nice cooked breakfast and my 3 children ate for free

Use this hotel regularly when working in the area. Very good place to stay for the price. Staff are brilliant. Friendly & professional. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is freshly cooked, eggs can be cooked to order the rest is buffet. Usually a good selection.

I always come to Barnwood Premier inn when I visit Gloucester! They just never disappoint! Excellent service provided from the staff as usual. They made sure that I had the room that I like so felt like home! Great job team Barnwood and see you soon!

Amazing stay!! Stayed her with friends as we booked a night out in Gloucester but didn’t want to pay town centre prices! Easy access to taxi and they came quick. Pub next door was ok. Breakfast in the hotel was an added bonus not having to walk outside in the morning when it’s cold and wet! Overall great stay! Thanks to the team!

Arrived ten minutes early and my Mrs was dying to use the loo. She was told it would be a tenner for early check in and she couldn't use the loo. Get a grip Debz. The hotel doesn't belong to you. Thanks for the lovely welcome. We were then issued only 1 key card when there were clearly two of us and only one set of towels in a room that was reserved for two. All in all it wasn't a very pleasant start to what should've been a lovely valentine's night.
