Anand Kashi by the Ganges Rishikesh - Ihcl Seleqtions

The luxury tent was a complete disaster. We were moved from one tent to the other because there was air coming in through the slits in the door at 40 F. This was at 11pm. The second tent that we were moved to smelled of sewage. This is their most expensive room and it is just plain terrible. Absolutely horrible experience.

Anand Kashi is an epitome of Luxury, Hospitality and Tranquility! Be it rooms, the premise, the food, the service before and after arrival to the hotel, they always stand out. From Hotel booking process to checkout rituals/formalities, everything was done with considering our preferences. The rooms are specious and luxurious. Food is yummy. Property is unique and it's amidst the lap of nature. Morning and evening time besides the Ganga are just serene. I and my family has experienced their signature Tajness here and left this place with lot of happy memories. Highlight : Ganga bay access, it's uninterrupted view from Hotel and Ganga Aarati at the evening!

Aryan conducted our session and it was out of this world! Learnt so much about the stars, including some of its history and present behavior. We also got a look up close through his telescope. Thank you Aryan for an unforgettable and informative session!

Great and unquie experience for my Wife 40th birthday. Hotel staff did more than my expectation services. Beautiful view of ganga and mountains. Whole hotel Staff was very warm and gave us the best experience. Love to come back again. Thank you.

Fantastic experience. The stargazing is a must recommended for people who have not done it before and have a keen interest in stars. Also our guide was fantastic so kudos there too. His oration skills and story telling really increased our experience from good to grea!

Anand-Kashi is an extremely beautiful property with a unique location! It is extremely unlikely that any other resorts would be having any similar location. Me and my wife were on our honeymoon trip and had one of the best experiences expected. We did have a small technical glitch in our room on the first night. However, the manager and the staff responded immediately and made us shift to another room. Housekeeping staff was also extremely helpful and took personal care of us during our stay. There are some things which can be improved in the resort. Regardless, on our second day, we had decided to spend our entire day in the resort when we experienced spa facilities, lunch on the patio, head-massage in gazebo, high tea and finally Ganga Aarti. It was for sure an out of the world experience. At the end of the day, our hosekeeping person brought foot massage salt and water which was truly amazing. The service that AnandKashi staff has provided can not be compared to any other resorts! Overall, experience has been undoubtedly great and will highly recommend this resort to family and friends.

We always prefer to stay at Taj properties where ever available and so was the case with Anand Kashi in Rishikesh. The place is not the value for money you would expect. The only good thing about the place is the location is superb. Everything else is just a 3 -4 star experience at best whether it be the restaurant or the room amenities. I would suggest you to look at alternatives if you plan to spend this much per night.

Our stay at Anand Kashi was excellent. Our room was facing and very close to the very forceful river Ganges but was surprisingly silent inside the room.It was a very spiritual experience staying there, with top class food, atmosphere and service. Enjoyed the high tea on the river bank every evening! In brief, I would say Wah Taj!
