Stallion Springs Resort

We had a two bedroom, two bath unit in very good condition. This is an older property that has been well maintained. The furnishings were iin good condition, Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were in good shape. Washer and dryer in the MB closet, worked well. There were two negatives with our unit. 1. The kitchen is VERY SMALL. like the size put in a studio apartment. Everything worked and there were plenty of plates and utensils. 2. The heating system has a distribution issue. If the bedroom doors were shut, the bedrooms would get extremely hot. If the doors were left open, the air flow would equalize and it would be comfortable. Do your shopping in Tehachapi as there are many stores available vs SS, Nice quiet resort with great views and trails nearby. We will stay here again.

Front window broken - doesn't close properly. Causes a Drafty. We kept drapes closed. Carpet stains. Loose outlets. Overall cleanliness was mediocre. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Fireplace was very nice. There was a slight odor sometimes but it would go away eventually. We have come to this resort several times. Our favorite unit is 418. Our least favorite 432.

We went with a group of friends and had a lovely stay at this resort. The resort is in a quiet location and we could sit and watch the deer off our back deck every morning. The bedrooms and living room are spacious. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The resort is near a number of wineries that were very enjoyable to visit. If you are looking for a quiet stay near an up and coming wine region this is the place for you.

What a great place to relax, enjoy the California mountain beauty. We spent the week visiting the Tehachapi area. The Railroad Museum in town and the famous railroad LOOP. We traveled the 3 hours to the Sequoia National Park. These incredible trees can only be truly appreciated in person. The General Sherman tree is the largest tree in the world measuring 36.5 feet across it's base trunk over 200 ft tall. This is a nice quiet resort. It was a clean, relaxing resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Kitchen was small, but it had everything we needed to prepare our meals when we were not eating in Tehachapi.

Stallion Springs is a place to relax and enjoy nature after busy routine life in big city we were walking around the little lake went to Tehachapi’s museums, diving into the history of such little town, Oh for wine lovers there are many many wineries around. Overall it’s been another great vacation! Thank you!
