酒店始建於1966年，雖然設施有點陳舊，但是貴在什麼都有，樣樣齊全。我們住的是villa，兩房一廳，適合親子出行。早餐也還不錯，典型西式。下次再來蒂啊瑙，還會住在這裏

大家留意，這簡直是坑錢的地方！！兩千多，住了一個80年代的房子以及大晚上給你給錯房門鑰匙的“別墅高檔酒店”，你敢信？？？實際情況是這樣：因為第二天不想趕早去米爾福德峽灣，晚上提前趕到了蒂阿瑙，在網上看到了這個“別墅”酒店，圖片看起來還不錯，結果意外發生了🙂。在我們辦理入住的時候，已經是晚上了，給了一把80年代的鑰匙（很納悶為什麼是一把跟家裡櫃子鑰匙類型一樣的鑰匙，別墅都是不能刷卡開門的嗎？），拿着鑰匙走到房前驚呆了，全是旅遊大巴（大部分中國旅遊團），而且這破門破損，村裡扶貧單位都沒這種鎖了吧，插進去，一打開我瘋了，門內有一條破鐵鏈當反鎖，拿手機燈照裏面發現卧室裏麪躺着一個穿紅褲頭的大漢，大漢也瞬間醒了（當時在懷疑人生：外國人睡覺都不關卧室門的嗎），立即跑回酒店前台，前台查了半天，説可能給錯鑰匙了，最後發現就是把房間開錯了，給了一把新鑰匙新房間。等到進去後，發現被騙了（估計是旅遊公司和酒店串通虛高房價吧，2000多，住了個80年代招待所），房間卧室沒有門，衹有框（這就是為什麼我開始以為外國人睡覺不關門），從外面就能看到床，所有設施非常陳舊，窗簾是70年代的，枕頭是有歷史感的，燈光是一閃一閃的，早上是被外面聲音吵醒的……，算了，不説了，大家在外注意保護自己 設施：茶 衞生：差 環境：差

This hotel is on Lakeshore with views of Lake Te Anau. We stayed in a villa (818) and parked right near our entrance. We had a small living room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. There is no air conditioning but it cools down at night as we found out later. Great location, and lovely restaurant!

Very pleasant one day stay prior to taking the overnight Real NZ Patea ( Doubtful Sound ) cruise. Room as in the photo. Great view of the lake but pity about today's weather. Excellent evening meal in the MacKinnon restaurant particularly the venison loin which was cooked perfectly. Didn't realise the meal came with veges so ordered extra sides which we didn't really need. Very interesting chat with Roman the maitre d'.

We took advantage of the Distinctions Winter Deal package and spent a lovely two day break here. Rooms are super tidy and just as pictured. Food was LOVELY and service was wonderful. Granted, winter is the quiet time there, but all the staff treated you with recognition, a smile and were super friendly. Very blessed that it was such a warm and comfy place to 'home' to after a day out looking at amazing mountains and lakes. Thanks for making our winter stay so warming!

Loved our stay. The staff were fantastic and looked after us really well. The rooms were clean spacious and spacious. We ate at the hotel and the food was great. The hotel is an easy walk to town and it has a great view of the lake. Definitely worthwhile staying here

Also, a Distinction hotel on a big property right by the lake – excellent for taking strolls and quick and easy access to the town and shops. Wifi was impeccable. The dinner buffet had a great selection including fresh seafood. The breakfast buffet selection was very good, too.

We were fortunate to have a lakeside room. Just a shame the weather wasn't the best, as there was a nice balcony area outside our room. The room and bathroom were lovely and the bed was very comfy. Dinner was good and there was a good choice of food for breakfast.

We were very pleasantly surprised, having read both positive and negative reviews, to find the hotel villa we stayed in very comfortable and cosy, with new bathroom and lots of space to spread out. No issues with things needing repairs. The safe wouldn't lock but someone arrived at the door within 10 minutes of letting Management know. It proved difficult to sort out so we were able to store our passports in the reception safe overnight and while we were out the next day. It was fixed by the time we were back. The setting of this establishment is lovely, with lake and mountain views. It's also conveniently situated, opposite the wharves for glow-worm tours, lake trips, etc and a 2 minute walk to the start of the main street with all shops and restaurants. Breakfast, included in our tariff, was excellent. Although they cater for large tour groups there are plenty of tables, attractively set and plenty of food.

We stayed in a villa , which is in a lovely location. Rooms were good, beds comfortable. However the cooking facilities were a bit odd, microwave and toaster and kettle, limited cups and only small plates. No where to wash up or a tea towel to dry up. Just a cupboard in the corner. As there was only one bathroom, had to plan our kettle fill and showers.
