Tamarit Beach Resort

One of the best camping resorts on Costa Dourada next to the excellent beach on a natural preserved part of the coast Resort with different bungalows is perfect retreat for nature lovers snd families. The byngalows are spavilus, well equiped, close parking spots. There is lot of shadowbfor sunn days, long beach just in front. And there are lots of small covesin a walkable distance. Resort has git sport facilitirs, pool, vhildren playgrpunds and animation. Personnel is atentive. There is also a good restaurant and inviting spa with jakuzzy, pool, saunas...

Just back from out third stay with Tamarit beach resort. We've had great holidays there and great memories over the last 3 years and highly recommend it. Tamarit beach resort is a unique place, great for families and feels relaxed and safe. Love having the option of the beach and the pool. Water sports available with paddle boats and kayaks available to rent from kiosks and plenty of activities/sports etc on the campsite. The staff are very friendly across the resort and really helpful. Lovely reception staff. We booked a transfer with Tamarit to the water park and other family members booked an airport transfer, great service and Fabio is a lovely guy.Food from the different restaurants is good, great that they have the sushi place too. Take away is handy for the kids. Good selection of food at the campsite supermarket and if you need more optionsu, the large supermarkets(caprabo, mercadona, Veritas etc) are just 20 minutes walk away on a nice nature trail from just outside the gates of the campsite. The resort grounds are neat and tidy, flowers add lovely colour and the gardeners are constantly working to maintain the standard. We've stayed in the Pineda and Iris cabins. Both were comfortable, clean and well equipped with air conditioning. We didnt stay in the camping area so cant comment on those facilities/atmosphere,but the cabin areas are quiet at night. We have visited the Altafulla area for about 15 years and Tamarit is a great choice if you have kids but still want to be near Altafulla. Love the beach bar for a sunset drink and kids can play on the sand. We didn't go to the entertainment or shows in the evening, but other family members staying at Tamarit at the same time did and they said it was good and they enjoyed it. Great stay, thanks!

We’ve just returned from 8 nights at this fantastic resort and are already planning our next trip! The staff are so lovely, they work really hard and the service is exceptional. The entertainment is constant, from morning until night, children and adults are never bored. The grounds are immaculate and there’s not a spot of litter. We stayed in a Noa bungalow which was spacious and had all the home comforts, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Fresh towels half way through the week, lovely outdoor space and seating area. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Great facilities, the food at the pool restaurant and take away were delicious and churros at the ice cream bar is a must. If I could give this place ten stars I would!!

Be careful, this hotel is cheating! I have reported them to my lawyer to escalate for fraud. They are incorrect and have poor customer care. I get into a hospital and asked to change the dates and they cancelled so I lost my money, but a day before they told me to send a medical report to prove and I did. Nevertheless they cancelled without my permission and refused to return my money with the argument that I haven’t surgery. The booking did not state that I could not make changes, yet they canceled without giving me any option. They told me that if I sent medical documentation, they will allow me to change my reservation. However, they canceled it, and today they changed their mind saying they can only refund me in case of surgery. This was not written in the reservation . They are being incorrect and cheating me as a customer without any empathy. I would like to inform others that they cheat their customers. I could give my reservation to friends, but I didn’t had a chance as they cancelled the moment I wrote them I am in the hospital! We have been cheated, and I will report this to all authorities + Tax Authorities , for scam and fraud as they took my money. We encountered numerous issues previously , which is why I'm leaving negative feedback. The electricity went out in the bungalow for several hours. To restore power, they had to turn off the equipment, leaving us without a refrigerator and other appliances. The restaurant is expensive and serves very small portions—we left hungry despite paying 150 euros for 4 people and had to eat more food back at the bungalow. The hotel's customer service is poor. I became ill and requested to reschedule our reservation for another weekend, but they refused. Now I'll lose my prepayment. It's not about the money—it's about the attitude! I'm very disappointed. This resort is not customer-friendly. It's an expensive stay with no value. It’s very noisy, the staff starts making noise at 7.30 am in the morning, I had to go out and ask for silence. Not worth it! I have travelled a lot, believe me,this had never happened before!

Fabulous couple of weeks, great facilities, wonderful beach and pool Staff were lovely - especially Umar in Dolce Vita But all staff were great Resort good base for Barcelona and Tarragona Motorhome pitches were good, plenty of entertainment and activities

It is an overstatement to call it a resort. Most of resort bungalows are run down, the fences within the resort are completely rusty and dirty and the houses are full of with ants. Also, on the beach and within the resort area many dogs are running around without any lashes, so children can not play around. Please refer to the photos.

Lovely campsite, gorgeous setting by beach. My children loved the pool and my son enjoyed the football activitities. We were disappointed on last day to be told we couldn't use pool, showers etc after midday while we waited for our taxi at 3pm. However, overall a positive experience staying in a bungalow and we would return. Altafulla was lovely and an easy walk and the train station was easy to get to as well.

Place in front of the beach called “platinum”. Nice place but no way to sleep. In the midnight all the young people from the camping and from outside go to the beach for party with their own music very loud, screaming, fighting,… I saw police coming a couple of times to check what’s going on. Very often people not residents enter and makes noise. Bad experience in the top and more expensive places in this camping.

Stayed 16 nights on one of the XL pitches with private bathroom facilities. We loved this site and is the best we stayed at during our 12 week Spain and France tour. Lovely large pitches. Great food and drink onsite. Short drive to Mercadonna supermarket also. Gym is really well equipped and fitness / spinning classes all included with pitch fee. Excellent padel tennis courts and a traditional tennis court. Great instructors . Right on the beach but unfortunately dogs not allowed on. Will definitely return in the future. Oh, and weather was amazing in May
