Jean Luc and his team are truly exceptional hosts! They hosted us for a wedding and they made the whole weekend unforgettable and absolutely perfect! The food they made for the wedding was out of this world and their kindness, hospitality, attention to detail and organization was beyond expectation. The hotel itself was like a little oasis, so beautiful! Thank you for having us!

Great Riad. Dont vorry about the road. From the center of the village you have to go by very bad, tight road, but it is just 5 min. Riad itself is very nice and big. Food is excelent and is facing trees and nice view out. Staff is friendly and if you get suite you will have an appartment from it.

Excellent food, service, hospitality, and comfort. Gorgeous location. Such good food. What a place! Multi-layered, maze-like building filled with intrigue, artifacts, and a million different places to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a very well managed hotel - staff are AMAZING and are clearly happy to work there. We got the sense that the hotel and its operations are highly embedded in the community.

We were in Morocco for 2 weeks and this was BY FAR all of our favorite place we stayed at. The service was excellent the place was magical and so beautiful. I highly recommend staying here. Only regret was wish we would have chosen to have dinner at the hotel based off of the smell of the food alone!

lovely Hotel. Service was great, food and staff very helpful. Stunning views. The only slight downside was very faint drain smells wafting around. I think the size of the hotel and the design must mean it is hard to keep the drains running smoothly all the time - so it didnt detract from our enjoyment,

We loved this place so much, we stayed twice in 4 days. It is sensitively decorated with beautiful textiles and tiles. I think what I loved the most was hearing the staff happily cooking and carrying out their work; they were all so hospitable and warm, always ready to smile. The food was good, and attractively presented. The guest house is located on the fringes on the town, and is very much in the middle of the community. It was a privilege to witness the local people carry out their normal lives. This is a location for people who want to enjoy the experience of real life in a working town. There was a wonderful young lady on reception on the two days we stayed, and I’m so sorry I cannot remember her name…I think it began with ‘A’! She was just lovely. We hope one day to return, inshallah.

Impossibly romantic little hotel--the birds singing in the courtyard, the rug-clad corridors, the antique bookshelves laden with interesting titles, the little balconies with gorgeous views ... Highly recommend (note that it is a bit of a drive into the centre of Ouarzazate).

This is true gem. I stayed here with my mates who went on a desert trek led by owner of this guest house. She is an amazing woman and her husband as well. The ppl who work here are also amazing. The guest house is beautiful and well taken care of. Food was excellent and service was great too. Premises were beautiful. If you are staying on Ouarzazate, highly recommend staying here.

This is a wonderful place, full of authentic charm and character. The owners have renovated an old kasbah a little outside Ouarzazate with great taste and authenticity. One has the feeling of connection with the past and tradition but in a comfortable environment. Service is excellent. So far so good but when you sit down to eat the magic really happens. There is a wide selection of menus from which you choose in advance a set option. The dinner was simply outstanding - some of the best food we had in 7 days in Morocco. Everything made freshly in the kitchen which is the heart of the building. And breakfast was equally delicious with home made goats milk yoghurt, bread, pancakes, millet porridge (a great discovery) - a feast to start the day. It’s best to have a car to get there but even if you don’t the effort of taking a taxi there is more than rewarded by an unforgettable stay.

Beautiful building, family atmosphere, delicious food. Hospitality unique in itself. It's really a pity to leave.

Very beautiful courtyard with songbirds and wonderful aromas of flowers. Great food and the owner even helped us out with a map and cookies for the road upon our departure. Most of the staff is French-speaking, so if you know a little French it will definitely be helpful, although we were still fine with English. They would find an English-speaker if there was any confusion. Quiet location except during prayer time, convenient for driving to Ait Benhaddou or the film studio.

We stayed at Dar Daif for one night on a recent trip to Morocco. The hotel is stunning - welcoming, cosy, yet original and quirky. It is a kasbah style house arranged in a u-shaded arrangement over several floors around a beautiful courtyard. The courtyard is the first thing you enter on arrival, an oasis of calm compared to the dusty outside. Our rooms were on the first and second floors. They were compact but nicely decorated with green tiles on the walls and moroccan rugs. There are several outdoor terraces and indoor seating areas so that guests always enjoy a “private” space. We had dinner on one of the terraces which had amazing views across the valley. The food was also very good. We can highly recommend Dar Daif for a stay in Ouarzazate. We should have stayed for more than one night to make use of the pool!
