Hospedería Diez y Seis

Easy contact, quick responses to questions, very artistic decor, easy walk from port to hotel and yet nicely tucked away in the old town area. Hostess was most helpful and polite, plus her English was far better than my Spanish. Would definitely return if I was in the area.

The property was in the old town section of Tarifa. It was located so close to the port and many old town streets, restaurants and shops. We were there in late January and the room was very cool. But the location overcomes any minor room inconveniences.

This is not hotel. Check in process was pretty stressful for me. I called the hotel the day before and the lady on the phone said that I need to call her in an hour before arrival and she will give me a code to enter the building . I was calling the whole hour and she never picked up the phone. She wasn't in town and for some reason didn't pick up the phone. When we arrived, there was another lady who waited for us. But if the owner would let us know that someone expected us, we wouldn't be so worried. Overall we felt ignored. If something would happen in the property, we would be on our own. She didn't pick up the phone. And wi-fi was absolutely terrible.

Veronica is the most amazing, caring and attentive hostess ever - she took me to the ferry office to get my to get my ticket to Tangier, and gave me advice about arriving and navigating in Tangier. And Tarifa is a gorgeous gem of a seaside town. I would love to go back and stay at her place again! Thank you, Veronica!!

Sólo puedo hablar de la administración de mi reserva porque no me he podido alojar en el hotel. Hace 2 meses reservé y pagué una habitación donde constaba que era cancelable sin gastos avisando con una semana de anticipación. Hace 3 semanas les notifico que no voy a poder ir. 10 días más tarde les insisto que no he recibido contestación ni devolución. La semana pasada llamé y me indicaron que sabían de mi petición y que devolverían el dinero de la reserva. Siguen sin responder. Hoy lo he reclamado por mi banco. El hotel tenía buena pinta pero tienen un inexistente o incapaz equipo de administración. Lamentable
