Hotel Srinagar

An oasis of a place, staff are so nice and friendly. Great views of the mountains. Good food, desserts are divine. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Town is vibrant lots of things to buy made locally. Temples are a joy, the walk from town is steep but interesting.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Srinagar. It was our family trip with kids. On the positive side, the hotel's staff and restaurant truly stood out. The restaurant staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The food served was delicious and met our expectations but still it was little spicy. Another commendable feature of the hotel was the presence of a well-maintained kids' playground. Our kids really enjoyed it. However, it's important to address some areas that fell short of expectations. we were allocated a room that had an unpleasant smell which we discover later after checking in. The lack of proper airflow in the toilet was particularly noticeable and made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped for. Nonetheless, it is worth noting that the overall condition of the hotel was satisfactory. The fact that it has successfully operated since 1975 speaks to its enduring appeal and reliability. Additionally, the hotel's location is indeed one of its strongest attributes.

We stayed one night at hotel Srinagar and it was average. The views are nice and the rooms are OK. The staff is friendly and always keen to help. The breakfast and dinner were nice. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the centre. Overall an average hotel but the choices around are limited.

The only thing i loved was location. Rooms are over priced for such amenities. They tried to charge us extra for breakfast even after being told(while checking in) that rooms include free breakfast. They didn't have basic domestic liquors and deluxe beers, they even had a very limited number of strong beers. However the staffs were very polite.

This hotel is on top of a ridge above Tansen. It has stunning views of the Himalayas from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu. I stayed one night in the recently constructed extension, where the rooms are of the very highest quality. They have every facility you might want and are very comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both were excellent. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Hotel welches so nicht ist eher ein Do it yourself Betrieb. Zimmer soweit OK. Sie leben hier nur wegen der Aussicht auf die Bergspitzen. Das Essen gar nicht erst versuchen. Es kommt alles aus dem Tiefkuhler! Entsprechend ist die Wartezeit. Beispiel Ziege 🐐 Zeit eine Stunde. Ausser der Aussicht nichts gewesen. Der Preis ist überrissen.
